Original name was Drashk's Droids.

After I took on a partner, the name was changed to D & D Droids.

Now, the shop is named Droid Mecca.

Making SWG more Star Warsy. One droid at a time.

DarkStar Inc. One of my friends came up with it (was actually the first part of his character's last name (star) and the first part of another one of our friend's character's last name (dark). Both of them are pretty much gone now, but I've kept the name. I don't think anyone actually knows my droids by that though, almost always just known as a droid made by Jenden or something to that effect.

UR Robotics - The UR is the guild that I am part of: Underground Resistance. We are a Rebel guild in Echo Landing (player city)on Talus (Starsider server). This name, of course, is a rip off of US Robotics which exists as company IRL and in sci-fi.

It is pretty funny if you say the first part phonetically. Especially if you imagine the ' is a space.

Man, I just want to know the history of that name (Sturdy Stohn Droids). It is definately in right field.

Why not the following:

Duff Droids (Simpson's Pun)

Jameson Droids (For the WELL known actress...)

A-K Droids (A-K Mini-mart is an Indian Run Quick-E-Mart in my city)

Imperial Droids

Rebellious Droids

Spam-a-lot Droids

Calvin Klein Droids

Tres Chic Droids (the last two if you are fashionable about your droids)

Gangsta Droids

Flower Power Droids (For you Hippies out there)

Steel Mag-Droids

Atomic Droids

Wish I Sell Droid Decars (Would probably get huge traffic cuz people are dumb and would think you actually sold them)

La'varian Droids (Only if you lived on Sunrunner and wanted to shamelessly promote my character)

Detonation Droids, Bounty Hunter Droids, Medical Droids, etc. (I mean come on, you could just start listing what you are selling)

Strongbad Droids (Check out www.homestarrunner.com and click the clicky at the bottom called "sb e-mails" I would recommend you check it out if you have the time)

Dragonlance Droids (Heck, start listing off your favorite fantasy/sci-fi novels... Tron, Willow, Riddick, Star Trek,the list goes on)

Drizzt Droids (Or even characters in other worlds... Raistlin, Frodo, Mad Max...)

Rob Zombie Droids (Or your favorite music artist)

Pizza Droids (or your favorite Food)

I could go on... these are just ramblings... You do not need to make it serious. It could be fun. Or a mix between the two. Just avoid things like Star Wars Names (Han Solo Droids)... they just will not let you name it that. Plus avoid sexual innuendos. Even changing the name so it sounds phonetic. I will not get into that as it is not appropriate on this forum or the SWG game.
