Since the new functionality has been out, I've been able to get deals that I would have never thought likely. I got 200k of the highest CD/OQ steel to ever spawn for 3 CPU. I also just finished putting together a +20 DE Exp and +20 DE Assembly suit for about 4 million creds.
The deals are out there and now we can find em. Droid sales aren't too bad either. Any other galaxy search success stories?

i got 200K of 700+ OQ tolium gas off a vendor owns by a CM for 1cpu, i can see a get profit coming as i usually buy tolium for at least 7 cpu

Am I doing something wrong with the vendor searches? After the first page of vendor items, it recycles the same stuff I was just looking at and adds a couple of new items. It's like I get a small window of the stuff out there and that's it.
I did manage to find Nikkog (OQ 1000 inert petro) for a decent price, but it makes me wonder what bargains I'm missing out on out there.

i do think there are alot of artisan there just dont know how to price som eof the goods, that maybe good for us the customers. But i have seen there are some DE on my server selling R3 53 power (highest on intrepid)bomb droids for 50K each, i just wonder how much they got the tolium for, as the last spawn of that gas only lasted 3 days.

No, I think that the item listings are broken. This leads to more pages of items than there actually are. It needs to be adressed asap if the devs want people to really embrace this change (IMO).

I wish I could get good resource deals like that. I have looked 3 times through every resource, knowing the good names helps a lot. Found a couple of them, but I am not paying 400 cpu for them. The bad thing is that they are easy to find for everybody and will be gone quickly.
