How is it that a BLL (a kind of mini AT-ST) holds so few modules. I mean the standard model has ZERO (!?!) useful modules and 1 armor module? Whats the point? Only use the thing as a tanking droid? (Even the advanced models only hold 1/3 the modules an R3 can...how rediculous is that?)
To be honest I think they ought to just pull the thing from the droid list and make it a vehicle...
Edit: please see the comments furthur down to make this a useful droid (even the standard model) and have it live up to it's name as a "load lifter" by adding the inherent capacity to carry 10 items to start with (20 with a storage module on an advanced frame)...

The issue with the BLL has been a concern of DE's for quite some time now. One suggestion we've had is to give the BLL a bonus to storage, meaning it could hold more than the current 10 max that all droids have.

There is only one situation where the BLL is better than any other droid: to grind Force Sensitive XP.
That's a bit ridiculous of course.

No point, but Ibought one for the hell of it so I can run around my harvestors and player citylooking important
It would be nice if they did something extra other then....nothing.
Perhaps a "collect" command sorta like attack, in that it goes to a harvestor and retrieves all the resources. Just select the harvestor, say "collect" and off it goes.

i dont know why the devs decided to do the mod layout for the BLL, but i guess i know the reason for it.
The BLL should be a non-combat droid, but for some reason not as good as a r3!
So they could a) not use regular mod. Slots and b) not use 2 gen. cluster mods
I hope once they remodel the complete mod. layout the BLL will get regular module slots for the standard version.

One small customer base for BLL's is usually docs who like to advertise. Slap in a barker module, food/chem station and MCR 110 and you got yerself a large, walking, medical billboard.

....cause they are cool.
Mine's a Barker, Data storage (for schematics) and storage.
And....they're cool.

But, are they cool?

Binary Load Lifters should seriously have some sort of inherent function like a power droid does, but instead the BLL could.. perhaps.. Ferry items from one place to another? (such as tell it to move power from a generator to a harvester or harvesters and it will do it till you tell it otherwise)

Yeah or have an inherent "built in" storage module already so that it could carry twice the load of any other droid (20 items) if a standard storage module was added. It should have something to make it useful and unique.

Very ridiculous and it is a waste of time and resources, i rather grind fs XP on something i enjoy to make, something i can sell or someone appreciate my profession as a DE.
To be honest this is one of the schematic on my crafting tool that i never used before, not even when i was grinding DE. If there were some kind of special function out on this schematic then i will consider making my first BLL in my time of being a DE.
