So, how hard would it be for the DEVs to come out with a droid module that would allow a grouped "humanoid" droid to act as the gunner in a two-seater ship or multi-passanger ship? The AI is already in-game with the Imp's NPC TIE Aggressors. Man, do those things ever miss? Anyway, I was thinking tier these new modules to the pilots skill for accuracy; maybe give them some commands like <target nearest enemy ship>, <attack my target>, and/or <fire back when fired upon>.

I would love to see something like this, I thnk the only problem it would let people solo stuff which i dont praticularly think its game breaking at all. Now sitting at a spawn point and blowing them up as they spawn is a bit game breaking IMHO.
Before i propposed a flight module with a variable pilot program (like personallity chips) that could be installed. the different chips would have a variable AI depending on chip installed
- No Chip: Straight line flight to a single wp.
- Novice Chip: One wp fight with object colision avoidance.
- Improved Chip: 1-3 wp fight path with object avoidance.
- Advanced Chip: 1-3 wp fight path with object and enemy aviodance.
- Militay Chip: When activated droid searches a XxYxZ area for enamys and follows them for gunner to shoot them. (this should be a loot drop from droid fighters at least)
EDIT: Whoo Hoo my name is no longer white
