I just masterd DE finaly, and i was looking into building some select droids for a friend like a barker droid for example.
He runs a shop out side of cnet and i wana build a barker droid for him (since i have my merchants there) and i was wondering what or how do you build a good barker droid that doesn't die out with a low battery. i mean i need him to keep going strong for days on end.
Or am i justdreaming here and this isn't possible ?
Also any other constructive info about droids would help.

No quality involved with barkers, just make the module, and put it in a droid.
if you have questions, feel free to ask them, and i'm sure someone will try and answer them

ok, well what about the life span of the battery or what can i do to stop this. I see droids in cnet putting around say -low battery- and not saying any thing. What can be done to avoid this sisutation.

recharge the droid periodically
Thats the only thing you can do.
Nothing DEs can do right now makes the battery last longer (aside from avoiding auto-repair modules I think... iirc those are the only things that cause batteries to be eaten up faster, barkers might as well, I cant remember, but maybe someone else does)

bla this is stumping me, because i made a mse droid a while back, it was crappy had no moduels and all i did was made it patrol and the battery was dead in a matter of hours lol guess i'll just have to put a storage moduel in it and fill it with battery crates >< unless some one has more input ... oh yeah and what exactily does the redundant power supply do, i read the description but it doesn't make sense hehe

The redundent power supply is used in the making of reconstruction kits i believe

alright, im still rather baffeld but i'll give it a shot, heh just going to make it so it has a storage and stick a few crates of battries on it =-) make it carry its own weight heheh

The little bugger will eventually run out of juice no matter what you do...it's the nature of droids. And keeping batteries in it's storage compartment won't make it auto-charge itself. Hate ta rain on yer parade, but what you want to do is just not possible. Barker droids require attention from time to time.

As far as I know, they all drain at the same rate...
the only things we can change with droid experimentation are module quality (and level of the modules sometimes if you experiment high enough - ie a level 4 data module turning out as a level 5 if experimented high enough) and final HAM on the droid craft (experimental effectiveness)
other things like droid repair kits have charges/power that correlate to the two lines of experimentation possible, but it tells you in the resource adding stage what does what.

The only way I can see being able to spam an area 24/7 with droids (or at least unattended for a long time) is doing the old trick with two accounts and two power droids, each with a barker module. Most DE's know about this, but you turn on the barking on the power droids, and macro them to recharge each other. It's a lot of effort, but it works.

hahah thats funny, but i found something out, if you tell them NOT TO PATROL and just stand there and bark ... they last for like days.... so my friend just ploped his down infront of the cnet starport and it was up for like 24 hours i think and it had only went down to like 85% battery
