Hey there guys. One problem, and a suggestion (for different things).
Problem:
After a propmt from Guild mates over flight computer's I've been trying to craft a number of each to leave on my vendor in case they want them. Trouble is, I only seem to be able to craft functioning v1 and v2. When I make any of the others, in the 'details'window it says "Level Three Astromech Certification: 0 No" or some such. Have I mucked up somewhere? My understanding is that grind level resource is fine.
Suggestion:
Instead of crafting individual Astromech Droids with each level of Data Module in it, would it be possible to creat a multi-functional model with, say, three different levels? Soa 'Learner Pilot' model may have Level 1, 2 AND 3, thus increasing the lifespan of the little fella. I know there's an element of shooting yourself in the foot by selling only one model where 3 could go, but I could always price it higher. Is this a possibility, or would one of the modules override the others, forcing it to work at one level only?

For your problem, it just means that you are not cert'd for that level. It will work fine for someone who is.
As for your suggestion. The way DE crafting works for the likes of medical, armour, item and data modules is that they stack on top of each other to get a higher level. You can stack two level fours to get a level 6 for example. That way, the likes of a non-Master could give you the functionality of the higher levels, but with less space left over for other functions.
So, no. That wouldn't work; you would be left with just one level, and that would depend on what you stacked in there.
