I normally like droidsbut the CL30 combat droids with 110 medical capabilityare just awesome. As a Pistoleer/CM it ups my heals from 100-200 points (900+ heals). It had 3200+ health and 9000 armor. Didn't know you guys could get 9000! With that said tho, I encountered something last night and wondered if any one else had something similar happen.

Sometimes I see the probot go into a mass firing mode where it does about 5 or 6 hits to the NPCs 1. I'm at CL37, grouped with the droid, took on 2 CL39s. I miss timed my heal and got incapped. The droid single handedly took down a CL39 and lost only 1/2 health. That's where this whole mass firing thing came into play...since I usually have combat window on I noticed the abnormal behavior.

Probots sometimes dont take hits also it could have been lag...

Droids being buggy is not unexpected.

The "mass firing" is more than likely lag. Probots lost their ability to fire like a machinegun. But they're good droids. Just keep in mind that the armor is bugged. Next time you pull it, the AE will drop to 1217.

I have witnessed 3 hits per NPCs 1 regularly, 4:1 occasionally, but never more that that.

I have also repeatedly succeeded with a probot vs CL44 mobs (me CL54 not firing at all), its all in the grouping. If I try it ungrouped, Probot is down faster than...well a very fast thing.

Basic rule of thumb, if YourCL < DroidCL then Don't group, otherwise do.

Something else to ponder, where's the logic in a combat droid suffering the 'weapon equipped' reduction in speed? Sometimes I think the lunatics have taken over the asylum

I'll check the logs tonight. Maybe it was 4 to 1, that's still awful good.It was not normally that ratio tho. And now I'm worried about what the AE might be since I saw 9000 at first, but I might of stored/pulled it a few times afterward without looking.

No point in worrying about the AE...it's definitely not 9000 anymore

Shall I guess.....ummmm.....I guess 1217 just as a random guess

What a bunch of hooey. I guess the AE shifts just like for pets.... It's still a good little droid with 3 to 1 attacks and +100-200 heals.
