Came from a dev over in the CH forum. Since the pet code and droid code are the same, we can hopefully expect a fix for us at the same time...

well well well....i really liek the part where he states that CH as a profession became unplayable...also good that the dev dept acknoledged the mere existance of the bug that makes a rattled DE sleep better...
i guess we can check about DE in let's say 2-3 months and in the meanwhile get other chars (that mark really helped - especialy when you try to just have one toon on one server)

See, Devs post there, andnot here 
Anyway, was just ingame, pulled out my droids from my datapad, and none were effected by this. i crafted some droids, and had a customer try one out. No problems.
