Hello all,

As you can see, I don't post much. I've been playing the game since the beginning of August, mostly on Tempest as a combat profession. I started playing on Wanderhome in December to experience the artisan side of things. I knew DE had problems, but pushed ahead with it, because frankly its a "cool" profession in my book.

I do have one question about the profession. It is my understanding that we can only have 1 droid out at a time. If we are not intended to have more than 1 droid out at a time, why can weprogram them with formations? That doesn't make sense to me. Are we intended to havea wedge formation of me and my trusty DZ70? That's patently laughable.

If I am wrong on this, please feel free to correct me.

Until recently you could have three pets out as you may remember - three plus you makes perfect sense formation-wise

I find it more mindboggling that I have absolutely no use for my Power and Repair Droid (in fact a lowly R5 as the LE is bugged) - I keep asking people if I shall recharge their droids but no one wants me to O_o

Being an ex-CH and overt reb I used to walk around with 7 pets. Three creatures, three faction pets, and a droid. This is where the formation command came in. I would order a formation and have a small army behind me. The command is left over from those days. Maybe down the line people can have multiple droids ::hopes:: but right now the command would only be usable by CHers.
