Thread: Drashk Nightly Heard anything from TH? thread
Can you give us any new information? Its been a few days since the date TH claimed he would give us our well deserved thread. Can you give us any new information about or when we'll get our thread?

I can neither confirm nor deny any allegations of sm... Oh, sorry wrong question. 
Its been fairly quite on the DEV front today. I know that there was a meetingtoday to go over some things, but thats about all I know. Publish 6 should be on its way tomorrow. There are at least5 items related to DE that will be going in on this publish, but they might not be the be all to end all that everyone is hoping for. The first and foremost concern that Sintrosi, and now I, pushed forare bug fixes.
As for the Droid Invasion info, I really can't say much at this time. Take that statement as you will, it is purposefully meant to be vague, but at least its an update.

Do we have any idea specifically what they are? I'm sure it's not, say, the battle droids or the invasion, of course, but do we know what bugs they're aiming for here?

Lol, how long have you been a DE? Of course they will start without our input....or possibly ignore it. You just wait, Drahsk may blow a gasket justlike Sin did when he got pushedover the edge.
Droid invasion means AT-AT's walking around the town. Not something neat and nifty DE's will do.

As for theAT-AT, itis still in development and was being tested earlier this week on Test Center. Its very sweet looking and packs one heck of a wallop.

If there is ANY mention of DE bug fixes in this next publish I for one will be extatic. I know you are still on our side, but being Correspondent puts you in a tough position of knowing but not telling. Welcome to management level I. Did you have to give up any skill points for that box?

Honestly, I'm hoping you are right.
My server has been deluged with Johhny-come-lately Droid Engineers, and it's quite annoying.
Every one of them I have spoken to picked up DE 'cause they heard we were going to be "uber" soon.
At this point, I've been a DE for six months, and I'm not going anywhere. I can wait it out - but I don't think most of them can.
I welcome competition, always have - but these new DE's that grind up to Master before they even know the difference between a module socket and a module socket cluster are pretty annoying. I hear misinformation from them via other customers all the time - and downright lies. Like that "This droid has 120% medical..." or "This droid crafting station has a rating of 37.5" - both of which are impossible, but claims that I have heard out of some of these new DE's lately.

I have seen the same on my server...lots of people saying "I think I am going to go DE, I hear they are getting some really good droids."
I think this is REALLY important info. to pass along to the devs about DE-only droids. If you put the certs. only in the DE tree, the exact thing I have been predicting for months is going to happen: Many players will pick up DE for the pets, the "CH" DE's will ruin the "crafter" DE's market, and the "crafter" DEs will have no one else to sell to (and the transformation to a pure combat profession will be complete).
We really need to agree to some sort of balance that does not include DE-only droids (an incentive to take up DE for pets).
