I'm on Tarq, Lidium spawned back in October or November I believe.

I have yet to see it on Flurry and i've been on since Oct.

Just got Dioxis gas though and bought a heavy gas harv just for the occasion.

Is anyone playing on Tarquinas able to find any lidium extrusive ore? I have surveyed every planet and none seems to be available.

One cannot jump into droid engineering and simply expect to find all of the esoteric required resources.

I've been playing this game since day 2. I've been a droid engineer since some time in August. Lidium Extrusive ore was around at some very early point, like week two or three, but I didn't get any then, and it's only this week that it finally came back to Kauri.

Part of the game is resource management, and one should be obtaining necessary future resources as one is growing in the profession. Sometimes this is VERY difficult.

I sympathize. There's no reason to expect that the resources you need won't exist anywhere in the galaxy unless you've discovered it for yourself already or read about that online.

As for accumulating resources you are going to need later.... That's impossible unless you research the schematics you don't have yet when not playing the game, or you are lucky enough to bump into one of the few Master DE's in game and then ask him/her. Because the game doesn'ttell you what the schematics are going to require until after you have acquired the schematics.

What is Lidium for anyway? None of my schematics needs it and I am 4/0/1/3.

I just discovered that I need Ditanium Steel, Duralloy Steel, and Duranium Steel a few days ago because I just got the Blueprints 4. So I am busy accumulating those now (Ditanium just spawned on Corellia and Naboo on Kauri two nights ago).

You're right, and that's why sites such as SWGCRAFT.COM and SWG.ALLAKHAZAM.COM are so very useful.

Lidium Extrusive Ore is a needed component for level 5 and level 6 Droid Item Storage modules. If you don't have Lidium, you are forced to use two sockets to get ten item storage slots in your droids.
