Thread: I made my first Droid last night
I made my first Droid last night, and Im pretty pumped. (I grinded master DE) Anyways I made ADV Probot with level 2 armor and Level 6 storage and a 110 med use. And I customized it to make it a nice Dark red.
If anyone could help or direct me to a guide on Experimenting. I only got 823 ham on my bot and I heard a guildie tell me that he got 900 out of one. What items do I have to get good exp from to improve ham? also I know most Exp on DE is broke, but what isnt and what is a good to experment on?
I am planning on keeping DE, I originally was a holo DE. Anyways I make my money selling resources so this is more a hobby to make droids for me and my friends. Thanks for your time and advice
Also thanks to those that have posted the guildes so far the spreadsheet with what resources are needed has helped me alot.(also thanks to my guilde DE's that hooked me up with the rare stuff that I need)
Well it said it on the deed at least, This person that told me is someone that I trust very much and is not the type to BS. So I belive them anyways. but thanks and I read the other thread on experminting so I'm going to play with that tonight.
Has anyone else here seen values of 900+ on a probot?
As a secondary blow, pull the droid out and hold your mouse over it's life bar in your targeting box. You'll see you msot likely didn't even get the extra 3 points. It's a terrible double-mistake where the experimentation is broken enough to where we only get 3-5 extra HAM, and even then it doesn't show up in the finished droid dispite the fact it says it on the deed.
But other than that, welcome to the profession matey

828 is def the cap (my droids come out 827 with att 97% experimented parts).
Just experiment and use good materials on the final build (and perhaps the crafting stations,as they MAY but most likely dont matter). Everything else is a waste. Look at the DE corespondants signature for more information...
827 is what I get with 980s+ OQChem, the Diva..(etc). Polymer from several spawns back. Experimenting on the middle bar effects the HAM, brain farting at work so I can't remember the name of the bar if quality vs. effectiveness. 900 is impossible would be my answer, I experiment everything and use good resources and best I've gotten was 828, and I have +12 experimentation boxes.If the deed said 900, it was possible that the creator Named the deed as a 900 vs. the actual HAM being 900.

Yea Im sure the extra few points of ham doesnt make a difference, its more for entertainment and my wanting to make the best droid I can make. Now if we could just get some Lidium to spawn on intrepid and some other much needed resorces that we need.
Does it really matter a few HAM points? LOL...one shot takes that away...
Also, next month with patch, they are going to have Repair Kits anyone can use....so 20 HAM isn't going to have a major impact on anything....
