Is it just me or do the R units no longer accept General Module Clusters?

I'm having the same problem. in game checking something

Roldar Krudar, M Chef (12 pointer) / MDE (11 pointer)
Intrepid
Tchtch City, Talus' First and Finest Player City [-141, -4282] Dearic is the closest starport
Roldar's Droidwork [11, -4401]
Roldar's Cookery is in the Cantina of Tchtch City

They use the Combat clusters now. Combat clusters can accept any module that the general modules could PLUS combat modules.

General clusters can still only accept the non-combat modules.

ADV. surgical is the only droid I can find that recoginzes socket clusters. Is this on purpose or what?

Yes, this is on purpose. Those droids that cannot have combat capabilities take the General socket clusters. Those that can have combat capabilities take the combat socket clusters.
