Hmm I have an idea that the quality matters in terms of number of charges, but perhaps not..its so long since I made one

I am reasonably sure that it does affect the number of charges. So using better droid storage compartments is definitly worth it. Should you however use those 99% ones on them? Probably not. Sell those to some architect for 10 times the money...

Ah I'm not too sure. I just remember that I've made many 9 use customisation kits, and I don't remember using great resources on the Droid Storage Compartments and experimenting on them as much as I could, although I might have used high quality storage compartments - can't really remember

I think it's just down to the resources.
I made some paint kits yesterday with 999Con/999OQ copper and got it to 99% (9 uses). I'd have to check what the DSC's were like, but I don't think they were anything special.

Hello all.
I'm a former Master DE on Intrepid. I have 2000 or more pre-nerf 99% droid storage compartments. Previously, these have only been valuable to architects who care to make high quality crafting stations. I'm wondering if this patch will make them useful to Droid Engineers too. Perhapst to make higher quality droids? Anybody know?
Thanks,
Kaldeth

I think those storage comparments is needed for the paintkits.
As of patch 8 anyone can now customize their own droids, so it is possible we can sell paintkits. I've made a short factory run of them to test the market out

Thanks for the info. But is the quality of the DSCs important to paintkits? I mean, is a 99% one significantly better than a 75% one?

I don't think the quality of the Droid Storage Compartment matters for Droid Customisation kits. Well I'm pretty sure it never used to anyway.
