Thread: How much can this tank?
or how good can it tank vs 10 quenkers? anyone?
Never fought those, but, from my experience, he would die incredibly fast. Don't think there is any pet that could take 10 beating on them at the same time for any length of time. Maybe a doc buffed high end CH pet, but gotta be a CH for that.
for how long could it be alive? are we talking 1min, 5 secs, 3min or how long roughly do you think?

I'd go with 5 seconds against 10 quenkers.
I dunno...
With stims you might be able to pull it off, I don't know if you would want to rely on your R-3 pulling all spawns the lair has to offer tho.
I did testing of my own and grouped with a master fencer, the R-3 and myself we hit a mid level rebel mission on Corellia. The R-3 was able to take direct fire from 4 of the 5 imps present for enough of a span of time to rotate through them with the fencer and my probot. At the end of the fight, by the time the encampment blew both droids were back to full health with me only using one stim B on the probot.
Sunfire1 posted a nice tank for combat grinding a couple days ago. Its an ADV Probot with 5 auto-repair mods and 2 lvl 4 armor mods. This will only do 1 pt of dmg, so it won't rob you of your xp like an R3 with even a poor combat mod will.
I made this droid and currently use it to hold up to 3 pickets while I level carbineer. It will just barely stay alive as I drop the third picket. I've found its a little easier to grab an aggro for 1 or 2 pickets rather than try to pull only 1 or 2 quenkers.
Its worth 100K. It is a great Tank, and is very useful for anyone grinding a Rifles/Carbs etc. With the Probot and 5 Auto-Repairs, you get a lot more XP, and a lot of time is saved.
For someone Holo-Grinding, I think this is avaluable tool to help them go thru the grind a lot faster.
