I'm trying to make my very first droid ( ) and I need some help. I have an order for an R3 with 4 playback modules and 2 effects. I made all the required components for the R3 Advanced droid chassis. I made the playback modules and the effect modules. When I went to make the deed, I wasn't able to put the modules in the deed. How do I do this?

I've looked over the FAQs and other threads but couldn't find out how. I'm a master droid engineer using a private droid crafting station. My thanks in advance.

"Master" Kluges,

You need to build a couple combat-capable socket clusters to put those modules in. You'll find them at the top of the list of items you can build. Each of them take three modules, and the ADV R3 Deed takes 2 combat-capable socket clusters.

Congrats on the grind (that's pleasant sarcasm btw).

Thank you for your help. I mistakenly put the modules in a general socket first. Oh well. Live and learn.

Also remember the biggest flaw of our proffesion, "we can make them but not use them" so we rely on others being honest when they say they can not get xyz feature to work.

I would like to see DE's given a test tool or something, on the tool they dial in the feature they want to test "Electric Fog" the tool then returns with "Module found, feature installed, press continue to active effect in test mode" then the droid would show the effect.

I have made one of these and I am having to ask another dancer/musician to teach the customer how to use it as the features are on a seperate effects menu instead of the mormal program menu.

Yeah not being able to test all the modules is a pain in the ass. Whenever a new module is introduced, I have to find someone who can use it, then give them a droid with the module for free, and then they report to me how the module works
