I've been away for a couple of months... but I noticed this in the publish history (pub. 22):


Profession: Droid Engineer



  • All droid modules will work properly.

Were any modules actually fixed by this? If so, what was changed?

Modules they had broken a publish or two earlier were fixed, not any kind of broad revamp. I yelled at tiggs about the wording of that patch note...

Gotta be one of the funniest things I have ever read. I think whoever wrote that also works for one of those tabloid scandal magazines.


And yea, all they fixed is what they broke a publish or two earlier.

Okay, quick recap on publishes affecting droids:


Publish 18 - Quite a few changes regarding droids

Publish 21 - Creature Hander changed which affected various elements of droids

Publish 22 - Fixed some or all of the droid changes that were wrong in Publish 21


Now, some things still don't work as we would have thought they should but here goes a couple of changes that stick in my mind you may not be aware of:


1. Experimenting on final droid creation does NOT affect health.

2. Apart from a few modules experimenting and resource quality as a whole seems not to make a difference.

3. A little buglet that may not be a bug just plain annoying .. Armor effectiveness resets to 1217 after first recall, but this is the same as the equivalent bio engineered creature of the same level.


Well, hope that helped a bit .. you might want to check the publish history before 18 disappears from the list.

I was aware of those things, but thanks =)


I was hoping that patch note might have fixed those things... but I figured it didn't, which I suppose you can tell by the fact that I asked if it fixed anything at all, rather than asking what it fixed. -.-
