You can have six droids though, right? Or was it three?... Oh well, you can have between 30-60 extra items, not including your pack...With a pack...thats...

5 droid datapad limit = 50 items stored in the 5 droids
129 body count inventory = body 80 + 50 in pack - 1 for the backpack
grand total of items you can carry around with you at all times = 179 (180 if you count your equipped backpack too)

It's a bit inconvenient to have to go through five different droids to get access to all your items...
I use my droids' storage mainly for items that I don't want to decay.

Same here. Or if I've got a whole bunch of components in crates.
