Okay, I read some reports from TC about the changes to DE. I have no problem with droid engineer as it is right now. But apparantly in their effort to fix some problems or other, they're going to make things more complex and convoluted. Yeh it seems my course is clear. If the publish does make everything pointlessly complex for my simple mind, I'm going to become a mendicant monk.
I'll use my 990+ resources and millions of credits to raise a temple in the middle of dathomir, and live a simple life as a hermit in the woods. People will seek me out in my secret temple in an effort to gather my uber resources and massive amount of credits and loot I have gathered thoughout my career. Ofcourse, not anyone will be able to get this. They must first pass the trials to show that they deserve the prize. I'll watch them solo night sister elders. I'llmake them grind out DE infront of my eyes. I'll follow them as they hunt down jedi. I'll be like a PC quest giver, I'll have my own themepark.
Yes, but I'll still make droids. I'll make an army of exploding mse and a legion of CDEF R2 units. The DZ70 with be my captains and the probots will be my generals. And when the crackdown hits my doorstep, the droid monks will be ready to take down any stormtrooper that migh try to shut us down, no matter how many probots it takes.
And xp farmers thinking they can get easy xp and loot from beating down the droids around my themepark will be in for a beating and the C3PO uses knockdown 2 and unarmedhit 3 spam all the evildoers, and the single mse droid will be the last thing you see before the "choose cloning" screen comes up.
But if everything works out fine and all is good, I'll jack up my prices for the enhanced functionality of the droids, and live as a rich rich man...
