Thread: Here they are, TC changes so far (all schematics available now!)

SiameseFluff? I use my factories to store extra stuff that I have no room for in my house. Put those factories back up, they can hold 100 items in the ingredient hopper, doesn't matter what the item is. These mods look pretty cool, I was thinking about dropping DE and artisan due to skill point issues, and I had been pumping out components so another master DE would be able to assemble for me, but I am going to wait now. Any idea when the next publish is going to happen?
Merchant tent all the way!
so with the early reports on the new crafting system...
Does that mean instead of adding experimentation to Droids so droid quality will be different, they instead have changed crafting so all professions goods are exactly the same? (Like droids)

Can I ask what may be a silly question?
I noticed on all the deed schematics up on Jenden's site (thanks so much by the way for all your hard work) that all the module slots say "requires one combat-capableservice module."
Has anyone tested to make sure that non-combat (i.e. storage, medical, etc.) still fit in to these sockets?
Also, on a related note... do the "combat capable socket clusters" take only combat modules? If not, how to they differ from the regular socket clusters, or do they?
Yes, regular modules fit in combat capable slots ...I've got a W/D/G crafting station in a DZ70.
I have not been able to try the cluster slots, as I don't have cluster to test yet, stay tuned!
Edit: spelling mistakes...it's getting late and I've grinded a lot ![]()

I asked Drashk last night while we were talking....No, BLL's are NOT combat capable.
The problem with Friday patches on TC is that there isn't any DEV feed back as to what is correct and what is a new issue. Since the code that is on the Internal Test Service is slightly different then the Test Center code that we are seeing now, there is always the possiblity for new bugs to pop up. The last three Publishes on TC have shown that the DEVs are pushing 'raw' code to TC, so that it can be tested much more throughly and before it hits Live. With the exception of the Vehicle dupe bug in Publish 5, pushing raw code has actually helped to catch a lot more bugs before they hit Live. Even the Vehicle dupe bug was 'caught' before it hit Live, but new versions of the same bug popped up after it went Live. If the issues have not been addressed within two weeks time, then I would suggest that we start to worry.
The only thing that will help out is if more DE test out the new features and report them on the In Testing Issues thread. Also be sure to send in any /bug reports that you run into. The only way the DEVs can look into TC issues is if they are made aware of what is a potential problem. If you spend time on TC, be sure to keep an eye out for Q&A. They are great at giving feedback and pushing along questions to the right people.
The more feedback that the DEV team gets on the Publish 7 items, the more the DEV team will look into the various systems that have been effected. It looks like Runesbane has been doing a few rounds of the bug threads and has pulled items to pass along to the departments envolved. As next week progresses, we should see a few changes and fixes to issues that have popped up. Honestly, I'm impressed to see that TC is up and running.
I started a char on test, thinking I had a little more time before they pushed Pub 7 to Test (I had heard the first week in March). I'm currently at Eng 4, working my way up. Gathering resources has been my biggest bane so far. I'm almost there, finding it much easier than when I did it the first time, when personal harvs didn't give GCXP, or when I had to run to all my harvesters uphill both ways in the snow.
Edit: My char name on Test is Beejo if anybody was wondering... ![]()

I don't generally even notice star ratings, but someone has been going through and giving every single post Jenden has made to this thread 1-star.
That's pretty sad, since if you like the information he's given or not (and I definately have NOT been pleased with a lot of it), he is the ONLY one who was giving it at first, and he still has given the most complete information. He's done a huge service to us, so if you have a minute, please go through and bump up his ratings.
Some people...
Thanks for all the work, Jenden.

I'd love to go and 5 star all Jendens posts here..he is doing a great job for us all.
However, I cant set stars to anyone..all I get is the error 'Connection Reset By Peer'
Never did use the star system anyway, but I have no clue why I cant do it.
Anyway, for what its worth, Thanks again Jenden. And as to the 1 star monkey..stop being childish.
