Thread: Here they are, TC changes so far (all schematics available now!)

Someone tell me a good point of the patch please.
It lifts AND separates! ![]()
In all seriousness, all I can think of regarding the new publish (lets get our terms straight here, lol) is that a ton of people will be wanting to buy combat droids and we'll all be able to sell them to them. After a long time spent on the edge of poverty, I have to say that I really don't care if people come because they need them or if they come because they want to try them out or come just because of the hype. A fool and his money are soon parted, and if their money happens to part in my direction that's fine w/ me.
I won't lie and say that combat droid are the best thing ever, but I certainly won't be leaving my vendors unstocked on patch day either.
So, one good thing = opportunity

BTW, on a diff topic could someone on TC post screenshots of the various droid deeds so we can get a visual of how the schematics have changed? I'm still a little fuzzy on if combatmodule clusters replace general moduleclusters or if they can both be put in the same slot...and if I'm saying it, at least 1 other person is thinking it

Excellent work Jenden. I was finally able to check out some of the Droid Engineer features for about 2 hours, before my video card dumped me out again. Next week I will be getting a shiny new Video Card and should be able to test the patookers out of Publish 7. What I have seen so far is not very promising, but there will still be plentyof time for the DEVs to tweak out the problems thathave popped up. Here is what I was able to find. Thanks Nolhta with your help in trying to get me caught up with what others had already observed.
- Droid Armor is still not stacking
- The armor rating does not appear to be working. Light and Medium is not showing up in the Examine window. Only the percentage is being displayed, and is still active. This effects Droids in the datapad (pre-patch), droids from deed (pre-patch) and post patch droids.
- An Adv. DZ70 with 2 Combat modules rated at 89% Effective Experimenation produce a Damage, To Hit, and Speed rating almost the same as a standard Pre-patch Adv DZ70. The Combat Modules do not appear to have increased the combat effectiveness of any droid that they are installed into.
- Built an Adv R3 with 2 Combat Module Clusters with a Combat rating of 295 each, or a total of 590. The Adv R3 was 20 / 46 / 20 , on the three experimenation values, when finished. The Adv R3 had a max damage of 52.
- The pre-patch Probot and DZ70 that I had in my datapad did not display combat damage, after the publish.
My casual observation is that Droid Armor is borked and that the combat damage for all combat capable droids is the same as it was, when the damage was listed in the datapad still - 2 publishes back. I did not see an increase in any of the combat damages from previous versions of the droid. If the combat values are as intended, the combat module requirements might want to be reconsidered. The requirement for a Droid Brain for each and every module is a bit excessive, IMHO.
I posted this on both the Issue thread on In Testing and IT 7-1.

Thanks for the info.
Thanks for your excellent work Jenden. I really appreciate all the time and effort you are putting into this and the screenshots you are providing and fantastic. Keep up the good work! /kowtow
Correct Grib
You have summed up the situation perfectly..except to say that it is now more difficult and expensive to get to less than where we were (Stims do however make a difference).
Droid Evasion?

Man, you just like to be abused don't you? "I am only a DE so I can make money to be a Pikeman" ???? Here... just let me throw this boiling vat of hot oil on you to put you out of this endless cycle of misery. It couldn't hurt any worse than going from DE to a Pikeman.

I'm afraid of this patch
I'm only a Master Droid Engineer. I make my money by selling some resources and droids. I make maybe a million in a week or so and I BUY a million or so of resources, parts, supplies, etc formyself as either for DE or for my quest to become a Master Pikeman.
oh, I thought the Repair kit schematic was posted?
Here's the Repair Kit -A:
20 Metal
15 Chemical
1 Diagnostic's circuit (refer to Jenden's page)
1 Capacitor Discharge Unit (refer to Jenden's page)
1 Unit Delivery Cartridge (refer to Jenden's page)
...and a partridge in a pear tree.
The basic components are found at Novice, and Adv. components are found at Master. I am told that the resources for the advanced components are a pain.
I expect that the Repair Kits will scale in difficulty to make like BE pet-stims do: meaning it's going to be more of a pain to make/more factory time.
More information to come, I'm trying to decide if i want to go for Master Blueprints (to geta glance at the new Adv. Probot schematic), or Adv. Refinement (to look at the Repair Kit-B).
