Yea, the list I presented was in no particular order, and I did go into more detail in my official post about each issue.
Jenden, when you talked about experimentation, did you talk about it at the combat module level as well? That's a serious issue for me.
I did experimentation in general, and did mention combat in specific (though that was mainly listed as an inbetween case, where its got an "on or off" type experimentation system).
Yea see that is what has me a little worried man. As we have seen, we need to be very careful with our phrasing to them. "Technically" experimenting on Combat Modules does matter. For example, I think these numbers are right. There are three levels, 1-55, 55-109, and 110. So they can look at the system and say "look experimentation does matter," yet they are not realising that 99.99% modules will fall into the 55-109 category.
I just don't think that anybody there really understands the problems.
I feel that the deed not displaying any information on the droid's combat abilities is definately affecting my sales, droid deeds should display everything the droid does in an easily understood fashion. For me this is a critical issue which I have bugged in-game.

For the love of god can we get seeker droids on the list, I don't even want to know how many sales I lost from this.
I have agree with this. BH droids are the biggest sellers. with the current bug that stops a stack of seekers being used its difficult to keep sales up.
also a minor thing that could use a look at is the droid data modules. if you experiment a lvl 2 data storage unit high enough it becomes a lvl 3 or lvl 4. This means that you can do a custom order for an astromech and have to do more than one trying to get the right lvl droid.

The module thing is the way all level modules work and is intended. If you don't want the module being a higher level then you shouldn't be experimenting on it (since the only result it has is possibly raising the module to the next level).

ohh ok. thanks for that Jenden I'm still new to the DE business and still have a lot to work out. I guess i'm just used to the WS method of making sure everything is experimented on.
another thing that has popped up from a few of my customers is the naming of droids. I built an adv R2 droid for a friend but he was unable to name it. even though he was using the correct naming conventions(no numbers etc I think he was trying to name it BoB) but even after programing all commands the droid did not retain its name but the commands were eg : bob follow, bob stay etc etc etc. I also had this problem trying to name a probot.

I would have to agree with most on here, the experimintation, combat mods, armor mods, deed infoare the most important. These may not keep us from playing but they do greatly hinder it. Do we need to just start mass producing CL30 DZ70s? When they can be our most powerfull, it is a problem. Armor should be stated wheither this is the way the devs expect it or if it is a bug, and if it is 'the way' then hotfix the higher rate and have them crafted at the lower one. Deed info is a VERY big thing. We might know what a droid will do but the customer doesn't, and they get useless info compared to the real info they are looking for from their/others already called droids. This should fall into the critical bug if nothing else, if not from our point of view but the customers, weapons have it and customers depend on it to shop, or at least the smart ones do. lol
The naming issue is still an issue too. Droids are not really pets and shouldn't fall under all the specs of pets. An R2 is an R2 no matter what stupid name people call it, R2D2 could be dropped but R2D7 should be ok. Come on, it's Star Wars! How much of a SW feel should the game have? Critical bug? Well we can't name it what should be ok, what falls into the 'realStar Wars world', so that does keep us/everybody from playing a SW game with SW feel.
I haven't seen the 'no combat' bug after a droid is calledbut if it's still there, it is a definate critical bug. Combat droid = a droid that 'will' attack. The crafter problem I haven't seen either. I always pull mine out indoors and it always works, crafting and datastorage. (mine is pre-something... lol it's old)
I know we are all just rehashing the same ole things but they are still worth rehashing because *we* feel they are problems. Devs may not, but we do. Maybe the devs just want to drop us a bone and figure they will only fix our worst, most critical problem and leave all this other stuff for another year or two.

Ok, I'm looking to put together a list of critical bugs for us. These aren't feature changes (like wanting experimentation back) or minor bugs (not being able to name protocol droids), but bugs that make a chunk of our profession unplayable/worthless. So far I've come up with the creature harvesting bug.
OK I have to admit that I started to skim this thread twards the end but I have an aparent bug that is big time breaking the DE prof for me. I tryed to make 2 different droids that had combat modules in them and the combat mods didn't stick. I will admit that I did very little to look into this and see if maybe the mods are there just not listed but if indeed the combat mods are broke I would have that high on my list with the rest of the big bugs mentioned here. If I'm wrong and the mod is realy there but this is just a part of the deed mod list bug alreaty mentiond then add my name to the list of ppl that want that one fixed lol ![]()
Jenden,
Thanks for working with us all to get a prioritized list of the bugs effecting our prof. ![]()

Jenden,

Mods are there, just not listed.
So Bretheren, the DE community has come up with a list.
Another List
A List tosubstitute the more comprehensive 'Classic' list that has graced these pages forever, stickied to boot, stately almost in it's grace and longevity. /bow to Gorantoth, and to Drashk, keeper of the Holy List.
We have been making lists forever..forever. Top 5, Top10, Critical, etc etc etc ad infinitum
Anyone noticed that the list never, thats undeniably never, gets attention from development?
Does anyone actually believe that there is the slightest hope that DE will be sorted out in the forseeable? Within 6 months? Nine anyone?
/sob
Update on this problem I mentioned on page 1 i think.
I removed one of my chars from the admin list of my droid vendor tent and got her to buy a combat medic droid to use. The droid is post Publish 18 (I re-crafted all standard droids I had then - thankfully down to 10 by then) and she is still using both the combat and medical uses it has. Can't think of anything else to do to test this feature out but so far I personally haven't come across this but don't want to place my combat droids on the vendor just in case something goes wrong.
Xrystal wrote:
Oh and how canI have forgotten the possibility of the vendor messing up the combat ability of a droid. I am gonna be testing this with my other char over the weekend as I really need to see if my post 18 crafted droids can be placed on the vendor without any problems. When this was initially noticed my bio engineer could buy off a droid with no problems but she was a member of the admin list so gonna try this again with another character and see if she has a problem when shes not on the admin list of the vendor tent. What with time zones and all (Im in the UKand most if not all my customers are in the US) its hard to tie up a common time that both customer and supplier are online at the same time. I have so far not had any droid sales to do with the combat droids I have on display in my vendor tent. But my space droids and bounty hunter droids are selling very well.
Well I think thats it. I'm sure if any more come up I will add them in. I have highlighted the importance of the bug to help you wade through the rest of this dribble.
