Not a DE but agree with virtually everything that's been said here. Not onereason in this world you guys should be treated this way - and all the empty promises and vague plans you've been givenjust make matters worse...

Droid Engineers definitely belong at the TOP of the fix/overhaul list - no question. I'm a medic / carbineer (lol) but at least my gun works (sometimes) and I can keep my friends alive... You guys have nothing - and you've worked just aslong & hardas the rest of us to reachthe top of your professionwhile having to consume 10x more crap...

I was going to quit DE and then just said, alright I'll hang in there instead. Take a look at the stats they provided. Basically they are saying "Well of course we are giving all the love to CH! It is the most popular profession at 8.66 percent, why would we pay attention to a profession that has only .91 percent?"

Wow. I've never posted outside my own Galaxy/Profession forums, but the thread is a work of Art. I'm a Master CH & sympathize w/ every DE in the game. I meet a great guy when we both were n00bs on Talus & he decided on DE as 'THE profession'. We've been business partners & great friends ever since. But, I've basically carried him this far in the game. If he needs money for resources, harvester maintenence, etc. I take him on Kamurith missions on Dathomir, 20k per mission. I usually disband the group before the nest is destroyed, so that he gets the full payment for the mission. I've never minded, since I solo the missions anyway & he's a great friend. But it's ridiculous that a (nearly) Master DE is REDUCED to asking for help to earn enough to keep his career alive. Best wishes for all of you comitted to make this a worth-while profession.

btw: If you see me in-game, ask for a mount. If i have one on me, or can tame one close by, it's free. DO NOT send me tells asking for mounts, I'll put you in Ignore List. But, to compensate (as much as 1 person can) for the absurd price gouging on mounts, I'm giving them away.

1. We knew we weren't getting anything this patch

2. CH's are about to get nerfed

3. I knew CH's were gonna make a ton of money from mounts, hell this is what they should really be doing.

4. I was completely prepared to not sell any droids for 3-4 days after this patch and was very surprised to sell a fully loaded R2 yesterday.

5. I'm on Flurry and still making plenty of $ even though I'm not yet at master

6. From everything that's been said vehicles will be given to artisan's, not DE. Thank good I'm also a master Artisan.

Looks around and notes lack of any dev presence for this situation!

I've given up on DE twice. Shame too because my first character was meant specifically for DE. I thought it would be really cool to make droids. I still follow the cause simply in the hope it will get fixed enough for me to come back. I had started a second account to be an artisan and use my main to finance things. But, I think that it is rediculous for me to reward SOE that way for making the most star warsy class so broken. Why should I reward them with extra money simply because I really want to be aMasterDE and a Master Smuggler but can't support my DE that way? So, it is cancelled and I will prep my Master Smuggler to make and sell Vehicles.

I enjoy many facets of CH, but I really want to play Star Wars. If I wanted to play an animal tamer of some sort, I would play a fantasy based game. But, CH is the best class to make money with in SWG. That was even before thenon-CH pets and mounts. I don't see a problem with the prices they are charging. Partly because my PA was taking care of us for some time. Some of the CH's were taming Carrion Spats and Kaadu for the last several weeks and handing them out. Then, we just went back for the mount training. The people charging those prices are doing so because people will pay them. The people paying them are doing it because they have more money than they know what to do with.

The part about this that I find most frustrating is the continued enhancementsto one of the few classes that work well. Despite all the complaints by CH's, the class is pretty much fully functional. So, why do they continue to add items to it instead of fixing other classes? So many people are CH's because it is the best class to make loads of money with as your pets do all the work. And, the expenses are very low. You might need to buy some stims and some new guns every once in a while, but not often. So, the money is almost all pure profit.

Hang in there Sintrosi if you can. You do wonders for the DE community and it would be a shame to lose you.

Not sure if it will make you feel any better but my MCH has not sold a single mount and most likely will not do so. He doesn't even have to run around taming either since my other characteris a BE (and also working on DE) can produce Kaadu's and Carrion spats at will.

Don't appoligize Sintrosi, you sure as hell relflect my feelings about this ordeal 100%.
