  1. Feature Add / Bug: The following should be displayed on both the datapad and inventory form of all droids:


    1. All innate droid abilities granted by type of droid

    2. Service module abilities granted (In named list)

    3. Service module levelsused to grant such abilities (lvl4 + lvl4, lvl 6 etc)

    4. Combat module abilities granted (Ranged attack and/orMelee)

    5. Combat module damage types granted

    6. Power status in both % and time until recharge

    7. Customization lifespan in both # of calls and any other relevant breakdown of such a measurement

    8. Commands with the adjoining callwords displayed in a more user-friendly manner (no underscores etc)

    9. Customization and/or actual appearance of droid being reflected

    10. Current"program" the droid is running (Ranged attack, stay, patrol, etc)

    11. All other revelant statistics added

    12. Omission of any completely irrelevant statistics, such as mechanism quality, from statistics.

  2. Feature Change: Deeds should be replaced by actual droids.

  3. Feature Add: Droids should be able to be sold on any vendor, be it bazaar or personally owned, in data form in order to promote the resale value of droids that an owner is no longer in use of or does not have the space to hold onto any longer.

  4. Feature Change: Higher-level Repair/Reconstruct Kits should require fewer ultra-specific resources in their schematic.

  5. Issue: Omission of any completely irrelevant experimentation fields. (Since there is only a single useful experimentation field, and it only matters for combat droids and modules, perhaps the devs should eliminate experimentation entirely from all but these items until they are ready to make experimentation have a purpose for more than 3 DE schematics?)

1. Bug/Issue/Needs Clarification: We need to hear if they are going to allow us to use GDMSC's in CCSC's. This has yet to be answered to my knowledge, and it needs to be one way or another.

2. Bug: Surgical Droids not having storage.. if they aren't supposed to in the eyes of the Devs, then break out the module boxes into what is and isn't capable, or somesuch.

3. Issue: Get rid of power consumption needs (batteries) on Power Droids. If anything, give them a lifespan (not some cheesy 20 calls thing, but somthing substantial, like 100 days, then buy another one)

4. Issue: Clean up experimentation labeling accross the board. If we aren't going to benefit by doing it, then don't have it in the schematic, it's both a waste of time and DB space.

5. Bug/Issue/Etc: Point them at the running bug list.

In no particular order of preference:



  • Fix storage modules on surgical droids

  • Having to use a combat cluster (with a droid brain for targetting?!) for 3 utility only modules in Astromechs is STUPID

  • We need the ability to re-deed droids

  • We need loot/reward schematics to add a bit of variation to the profession

  • Surveydroid - BH style - two types: planetary which sources highest concentrations stats at current location& interplantetary which simply tells you whats on which planet.

Basically we are seeing the exact same thing over and over again so why not just close this and put them all together for the devs.


Anyways here are mine


1. Bug: The droidsmith tool kit is virtually impossible to craft.

2. Add/Change: Ability to call out 3-5 droids at one time if you are a Master

3. Add/Change: Create more droids for us to construct, such as Battle Droids like we saw in the Invasion (Useful Battle Droids)

4. Add/Change: Change the Creature Handler to Create/Droid Handler, and allowMaster DE abilityto control higher level Droids.

5. Add/Change: Make Droids Useful


Thats it.

Bugs-fix/dismiss lower level component experimentation, nuff said


Issues-droid economy needs the implimentation of droid decay/ wear and tear. Repeat customers are or favorites!


Wish List-Recycling droid(tree hugger). Got an old droid that you don't need and couldn't pay some one to take? Feed it to a'scrap' droid which turns it into junk, which then can be sold!!! I also saw many good ideas about tracking droids, delivering droids, and how about a DNA sampling droid for our BE friends? Man the possibilities.......


Balance-gotta go with stronger "battle droids'" on this one. Take your pick from any of the previous posts


Whatever-Focus on correcting our problems now before too much more is added(hopefully.....i know its a long shot:smileyvery-happyto the DE profession.

This seems like the best place to state what I have always thought was reallly nessisary to complete the star wars experiance here in 'An Empire Divided.'


This game is not EverQuest. This is StarWars. Droid should be THE FOCAL POINT for "pets" as well as many of the NPC's.They should be needed for EVERYTHING. Why cant DEs build REALLY GOOD attack droids for instance? You see CH with rancors, but DE can only make 800 ham combat droids? Why is it that just about any dwarf nuna can disable a probot? In fact.. what the heck is a dwarf nuna? I can see fighting some creatures from the universe, particulary ones from the films, but most of what we fight should have something more of a star wars feel. Like more droid enemy NPC's.. perhapse. The only time I see those is when I visit lok to for the purposes of makeing meds,which is rare... because I am a COMMANDO.. without basic med or artisan.


This game has a lot of great stuff in it. I like it alot. But the real problems seem to be based on the fact that the game seems more like EQ than Star Wars. Making droids a must have item for ALL players along with shifting missions and Dungeons towards being MUCH more faction based (totally aside from PvP) and or droid based, is what this game really needs. Why are we fighting and taming so many creatures in a star wars galaxy were droids are supposably needed for everything? It was not that long ago that droids constituted entire armies. Now they can almost defeat a Guber or kreetle (if assisted).


SO (note I have seen newest update plans for April 27th, still I wish to add the following):


1)Wishlist: Building attack droids with shields that can compete with a creature (even if it is only wieldable by a DE).. like the ones on lok perhaps.


2)Wishlist: I think the surveying and maintenance payingfeatures is an AWESOME addition, but droids should be able to refill harvestor energy and retrieve from the hopper for you as well.


3)Wishlist: Being able to have out more than one droid at a time. Perhapse an operating skill that is nearly identical to the way CHs can handle multiple creatures.


4)Wishlist: A Factioned Master DEshould be able toobtain a schematic for faction based droids (including ATSTs or ATPTs etc..) and these should be tradable acrost factions (thru smugglers only)


5)Wishlist: Its awesome that droids will be able to heal players with stim A's with the proper module. Medical droids, however, should be able to handle much more. Let them use up to like stim C's for instance, but theyshouldstill only havearound 150 HAMs with little to no armor.



My dream: I am out in the field. I am fighting one of the imp/reb bases thatmake up most of the random spawns. ( Maybe its a planet in an expansion were ALL spawns are Factioned and there is a constant battle going on) My super awesome battle droid is killing NPC's as fast as I am while lazerbeams deflect off its shields. I realise that I need to repair its wrist mounted gatlin blaster cannon, so I send my interplanetary hopper retrieval droid to tatoonie to retrieve the Fiberplast I need for the battle droid repairs. While programming it with the waypoint to the harvestor I take some serious damage. Fortunatly my sergical droidrestores my health to full with a stim C. I think to myself: "Boy its good to be a droid engineer with the abilitiy to have several Droids out at once just like a CH. And I am so rich to cause everyone needs me."



Well I am awake now.. but I hope my dream lives on in the forums until the devs make it come true.
