I understand what you say.
It's just that people wanted more items, the majority of merchant.
But, to keep the load low, they have to limit each vendor with a low limit.
So, the only solution is to add more vendor.
But I don't think all the shop will be with 12 vendors.
Keep in mind that now, you need the skill point to use them.
So the number of vendors won't be much bigger than now, in fact it will probably be lower.
And with higher concentration.
In the end, it will be better for everyone.

Well, on this subject, some merchant on my server had a very very good idea, and already adapting to the vendor item limit :
They sell backpack with inside : EGP or EMM schematic and all the resource needed to build them.
I saw pure genius in that idea.
You can put a schematic inside a backpack? If so, great idea.

Nope, I misunderstood a post in fact.
You can't put schematic in a backpack.
But you can sell a schematic or even a wp on a vendor.
So the put the schematic on the vendor and a backpack with all the resources needed for the schematic.
That's 2 items on the vendor, but it's still a great idea I think.

I've actually recently started doing that. Was hoping I wasn't going to DUH myself, when I hadn't tried to put a schem in a pack. I number the schematic in a specific way, and then I number a pack with the resources for the schematic in a simple way. I do this for things like trim and such that customers are always bugging me for, and for EMM's, EGP's and such for myself, because I don't often get in the mood to monkey with splitting everything apart for factory runs. Helps out a lot.

Well, even if items in backpack does count for the limit, 4 or 5 resource and a schematics is better than 40 crates.
It like 10 times less items against the limit.
As for people buying the pack and not the schematic, not a big deal as the merchant usually have more of the resource than what is needed for the schematic, he can add a new backpack without a problem, and still get his money from resource, wich will probably be priced much higher than the schematic.
And if people only buy the schematics, well, making a new schematic isn't really hard to do.
