It seems you should spend more time searching for materials than you do complaining on the forums.
It doesn't matter one bit what the FR of old crafting stations are or what the potential maximum was for them to be. The point is that now, even though it is changed, you can still make the best possible. You say "oh well, there's never any metal with OQ over 50 on my server". Well, if that is true, then using the metal with OQ:50 will produce the best crafting station available for your server. You can always make the best. Don't get stuck in the mentality of "it has to be the absolute best or nothing at all". You will be miserable and not have any fun if you try to live by that doctrine. Don't get hung up on the fact that Server A has better metal than my server. Your server has 1 metal that will yield highest OQ quality. That is the metal to use to make the best stuff. Obviously, there are other stats besides OQ. New DSC's need OQ/CO, well, somwehere out there is a metal with the best possible OQ/Co you're gonna get. Go get it and make a station. That station will be theorietically the best possible. Doesn't matter if others exist that are better, point is that people without one still need to buy one, and they will want the best available, which you can make if you just stop looking for 999 in all the stats. Wow, sorry for badly formatted long run-on rant. =)
This game in a lot of ways is quest centric. The quest to build the best crafting station is now over. The best has already been done and the best you can do is only a failed attempted at past greatness. It is a game play issue far more than a business one. This was one bit of game content that was challenging and fun. The customer has the "absolute best or nothing at all" metality that drives this quest further and makes it even that much more engaging. This nerf kills this entire aspect of the crafting system.
Yes the item can still be made. Yes the item will now suck compared to what could have been built.
Dude, check cafa's and my server...it is the same. He and I are on the same server. I was poking fun at the fact that he said nothing had come up for a while, when in fact I had just done SOE. I know that the different servers do not offer the same resource spawns.

Well, as one of the maintainers for enactive.org and an avid follower of 3 private databases I find no evidence to support your post. There may be a .00001% chance you're correct. But somehow I don't think myself and ever major crafter on the Tempest server missed a 980 OQ Steel spawn. What's the resource name, mate? Ana, Felton, Whirp, Roscoe'p and a few other wanna know too.

Great attitude here. Really glad I continue to get great service from people like Skeenee and and Kossik cuz you are definitely one class A jerk. I definitely will make sure to pass these quotes of yours around.
You know literally nothing about me, or the helpful work I do everyday to make this game better for the Tempest server as a whole. Next time you finance over 40 people's grinds come talk to me little person. Or donating literally hundreds of millions worth of product to cities and players to make the game more enjoyable.
Blather all you want about suppositions. If ANYONE cared about them I'd be more than happy to disprove, with quotes, the last 5 things you mentioned. It is you that do not read what people, and I have said. Get over yourself.
