Thread: Stepping Down as Correspondent
Thanks for all, your perfomance in this forum was amazing!
Keeping in mind the crafting changesin publish 7 and all those "enhancements" our profession had and will have to bear, quitting this game is perhaps not the worst decision, even without reallife-issues...
It makes me sad to do this, but it's time for me to step down as correspondent. Unfortunately, my immediate family lives in the area affected by Hurricane Katrina, and they are going to be living with me for an undetermined amount of time. Because of this, and because of the uncertainty about what the future holds for them, my focus is simply elsewhere, and I can't devote time to being here on the forums.
I've enjoyed being the correspondent, and I've always tried to do a good job of representing what you guys had to say to the devs. I do wish I'd gotten around to making a link directory and/or faq like I'd always planned, but never did get around to it. Anyways, I'll probably be quiet around here for a while, but once things hopefully are figured out for my family, I'll be back around as a glowie to check on things and giving whoever replaces me my opinions to send to the devs

Good luck.

I hope your family is safe and well. I know their home was destroyed and the lost many material possessions, but as long as everyone is safe, that is what matters.
Good luck.

Thanks. I just wanted to say that their home did actually fare well from the storm/flooding and suffered only minor damage compared to others, but it's really just that even though the house is mostly ok, it's located in a city that won't function for who knows how long.
I definitely consider myself very blessed and happy that they are all safe, and that's what matters most to me.
Thanks for your work as a corresponent. And may the Force be with you.

Thanks for all your work, and I hope the family is able to get themselves back on their feet soon.
Great news they are all safe.
Good luck Aleyo. By all accounts you did a great job for your community and I'm sure you'll be missed. ![]()
Take care, man - focus on what's most important - your family. I fully appreciate all the hard work you've put in around here. I couldn't have asked for a better correspondent during the significant changes we had to our profession.
All the best to you, stay safe, and give everyone an extra hug to comfort them in such difficult times - you have each other, and that's all that matters.
