A more specific question.


Bomb droids. I sell combat droids for around 100k, but I'm not sure on bomb droid pricing. An advanced R3 will hold 6 modules, which give me the 54 detonation power I'd want. However, got get these decent modules I used expensive copper and half decent tolium.


It takes a few resoures and comps to make an advanced R3 and the rest of the det module resources isn't easy to come by. Its just difficult to sell them at 50k a piece because they explode and they're gone. What would be a reasonable price, bearing in mind how much I sell combat droids for? I know its different per server, but I'm looking for a rough indication.

Don't wory about them only being one use. I sell 59 Power R3's for 100k each. They sell quickly.


How much to charge for them depends on a couple of things.


  1. How good they are compared to other ones on the server, if they are the best the server can make, you can charge more.

  2. What other people are charging.

  3. How much you invested in them.

  4. How fast are they selling.

First figure out how much it cost you to make them. Then do some research around the server on prices and quality. Then set a price, 50k for 54 power isn't bad if your server can make 58 or 59 power. If they sell to fast, raise your price a little.


In the end don't look at them as being a one use droid, look at your market. BH's are the main buyers, they are quite often willing to spend a good deal of cash to get their mark. They fully know it's a one use droid, they will buy them anyway.

Hmm.. MSE's go for 10k on my server, same quality as my R3's (not as high det rating of course).


As a trial I've put a few crates of 55 power R3's on my vendors for 100k. This makes it 20k per droid, which is double the price of an MSE. Are your R3's about double the price of your MSE's?
