I would have to say that in my oppinion, its an exploit. But, considering how badly our profession has been neglected... Use it all you want. I wont, but It wouldn't bother me if others did.

I agree. I made a few droids with stacked clusters(2-4 droids total), mainly in my advanced probots. But afterwards, i didn't really see any advantages in it. we have so few marketable modules that what was the point of doing it? so i don't anymore. It would not bother me one iota if i knew someone was stacking the clusters, because in the end, what have they done? stacked a abunch of useless modules together that people were only buying for the 2 that they wanted anyway.

This helps the lower level DEs make some money too, and it is WAAYY to difficult for them to do so as it is. Perhaps this is also the logic behind the module stacking (4+4=6). I have NEVER seen duraluminum aluminum or lidium extrusive and only recently did we get dioxis gas on my server(kettemoor). how can a DE be expected to make any money if he can't offer the absolute pinacle of droids, and due to the inordinate rarity of these resources, perhaps the module stacking was as it is intended.

Summary:

Use of exploits in DE is justified, we are paying customers who have gotten squat. Unfair treatment like this leaves us only one recourse.

Use of exploits in DE is innocuous. what do we really have to offer that would make a droid uber powerful?

Lower level DEs have enough trouble as it is, don't make things worse for them.

Droids need help, and we haven't, nor are we currently getting any.
