Got the newest patch...

Prepatch barker droids (from datapad) has option on radical and it does work.

Built several droids to test and all results were positive!

Tested harvest/trap/barker/autorepair mods in DZ70s and all had command on radical. Also the programming command is the new CH style. Looks different but does work fine.

Tested and options do work for harvest/trap/barker/autorepair. Guessing others work as well!

The droids tested were barker from datapad (prepatch) and freshly built droids, from prepatch components except one barker and the mod was freshly built.

Also 1 combat - 1 lvl 6 armor still gives CL30 droids.

Hope this info gives some peace of mind. It sure did me!

You forgot to store the droid and call it again, after pulling it from the deed.

Making SWG more Star Warsy. One droid at a time.

Now the question is .. how does this affect Bounty Hunter and Space Droids ? .. Just wondering if I need to take the ones I have on my vendor off before people start buying them. Although I have removed the normal droids that cover the ones you listed as messed up .. trapper droids, harvest droids, etc. I also left one of the vendors spouting a notice that some droids may be affected by the new publish.

Okay .. just made a Power Droid and placed a Repair Module in it. My fiances entertainer droid was down to 75% (or lower) of power so trained my droid the recharge command and it repaired it.

What we did notice is that the owner of the droid could only see the effect in the data pad screen and not if they examined the droid itself. But I could see the change straight off.

Didn't have a droid that needed repairing socan't test that yet but will do that as soon as.

Oh, and Item storage compartment worked fine on a new crafting storage droid I made.

Test 2 .. Barker Droids .. Created Protocol Droid with Merchant Barker and Droid Repair Modules. Set the Barker up with the waypoint and barking statement and set it up to run .. worked fine.

Test 3 .. Harvest Droids ... Created R3 Advanced and added Combat/Medic/Harvest/Trap/Crafting/Droid Repair modules. Combat and Medic worked as well as harvesting. Will be testing other options tomorrow along with Entertainer Droids with the help of my fiance who has an entertainer toon (Master Dancer and Musician).

NOTE: These tests worked even after storing apart from Droid Repair which I couldn't test again after storing as there were no droids in the vicinity to repair.

More later ..

It needs to be said again,

Droid work fine only on their first call. If you store the droid and then call it the addtional radial functions do not work.

Repair, Power, Crafting, Medical, Item and Data Storage, and combat modules work just fine.

Auto-repair, Trapping, Harvesting, Barker, Effects, Playback, Stimpack, Structure and Demo module do not work after the first call, because they use a seperate radial option.

My LE droid also no longer talks to me. I do not get a "converse" option, and if I double-click it, it just opens an "examine" box.

Jedi will never be a starting profession...Looted items and quest items will never be better then crafted items, this is not a loot based game...CH will return shortly...CH and BE will not be back in game...Rangers are getting their revamp next!...The stealth system will not be changing in the spy expertise...Need any more examples of things the devs said that did not hold true?

At least Auto Repair, Harvesting and Barker droid worked fine for me even after storing and recalling. Will be testing Trapping tomorrow and will be creating a new droid for my fiance so the entertainer droid tests can be done. Have been storing and calling my Combat/Medic/Harvest/Trapper Droid off and on for several hours and so far no apparent problems barring the existing armor limitations.

However, I will retest these tomorrow. Need to get my new toon to Creature Handler anyway )

My Protocol Droid had a converse option on it that worked fine. But then I had also built it with a personality chip. Will check my LE Droid first thing in the morning and see if I get the same problem. Bed time now for me )

Okay, can confirm that Barker (Protocol Advanced) had Merchant options appear on radial dial .. even after logging out and back in. And this is a droid I crafted in the last 3hrs if not earlier. Character using droid (Master Merchant).

Also the same with a Scout (R3 Advanced) with Harvest and Trapping options on radial dial.. again after logging out of the game and back in. Another new droid crafted in the last 3 hrs. Character using droid (Scout 4143).

I can't explain why I am not having any problems apart from mere fluke.

>> edit: << Re-read the original post .. will definitely re-test these tomorrow .. thought it read that the items didnt appear .. but I am sure I told the Barker to re-activate after storage but could be wrong. And I am pretty sure I did at least 2 combat runs between stores of my combat droid.

I can confirm that barker, stimpack, auto-repair do not work as of 2 mins ago

I built an R5 adv with all three modules in it, on first call everything worked just fine. Stored the droid, and on second call none of the radials show up.

I have also tested old droids in my datapad, barker and Auto-repair,and their functions do not show in the radial.

I stand behind my original post, as these are the results that Drashk also reported on the test server.

No Hotfix has been put out and even Jendensaysthat this is a problem. It might different from server to server or player to player but the problem is there.

Okay, now I really don't get it. One person has explicitly said the options appear but don't work after the first store. Another person has said the options don't even appear after the first store. Guess what ...

Barker Droid - 3rd Login after crafting droid after Publish 21 download - Radial Options appear and work. Droid is happily barking my advert away .. barring a 10 second wait and then 5 minutes before the next one after I had set up a patrol point and got it running on it and then finally about 1 minute before the next one. So looks like that works.

Just in case its the second call when you log in I stored and called it again with a 5 minute wait in between. It got confused with the patrol command until I retold it the get patrol points but it is still barking about every 2 minutes. So .. looks like its sporadic but then that could be the way things work anyway.

User - Master Droid Engineer, Master Merchant

Droid - Stupid Personality Chip installed

Couldn't try Repair Droid as the only person I saw chose to ignore my request if he had a droid that I could test Droid Repair on.

Well too late to check anything now .. have work to get to. Will check the other stuff I've made since the new publish.

I can confirm that Pre-Publish 21 Bomb Droids in the datapad do not work -- no radial and no response to /det.

Crated bomb droids crafted Pre-Publish 21 have the radial when pulled from the crate and called for the first time. After they are stored, they lose the radial and do not respond to /det.
