while, I agree that their utility is questionable, I have to mention that on Kauri I seeat least 2merchant barker droids in both the Theed and Coronet starports every time I pass through (which I often do).

Fact is, you can walk through cities like Theed, Bestine, and Coronet on one of the most populated servers, Eclipse, and be lucky if you can find a single Merchant Barker Droid in use. No matter how you slice and dice it, thats a failure. Nothing really to argue.
