Thread: 1st Annual Droid Engineering Academy Awards
I think the nominations are rigged, they're all the same names...
Too late for another entry?
In the "Droid Engineers Are Still Waiting…" category,a late nomination for best Developer post:
-Thunderheart 01/30/2004 "Hey now...I've been playing sincethe very beginning and have never stopped.I know and understand the pain intimately. I think we all want cool utility droids AND new combat droids. The reality is that making a strong addition of utilities droid modules to the game is a 7-8 week process and thats not a possibility at the moment.
Right now, publishes are scheduled for 4 week periods with a week overlap for QA and QC. There isn't any time on the 2004 schedule to just stick in another month of development (though we all would like to)."
____________
There isn't time in the 2004 schedule to add something that was actually part of a thread that was started in beta? Reference

You may know it in its newest form, Centralized Droid Issues, stickied at the top. As far as history goes, we had ideas on the wishlist for utility long before any ideas for a new Droid profession were dreamed up.
This one at least deserves honorable mention.
Wow, that it one of the funniest things I have ever seen on these boards. I agree with whoever said that they would never delete this because the never read these forums. Wonderful. Supercalifragilisticexpialadocious. 5 star from me, accually make that a 100 star! LOL

-Thunderheart 01/31/2004- The trick is that there will be NO modules that "add bonuses" or enhance abilities. If the devs did that then we're getting back into the "extra checker" scenario. Further more, players can stack modules and start getting really unfair bonuses.
