LOL it's a shoulder strap? Gee, that will be especially useful to people that have to wear backpacks just to carry enough stuff to craft with (they can't be worn with backpacks).

I'm interested to hear what it "does" - but again, I can think of very little besides allowing us to have an additional utility droid out that would make it worth the time.

You serious? Every crafter has a version of this.... DE would be the only Shoulder one i know of though.

bah, I'd rather have a shoulder one then a belt, I've got a +25 droid experimentation belt I'd rather not have to do without.

I have to agree with you there. LOL My belt has like +9 exp, +9 assembly, etc. on it. LOL

GarthChan correctly identified the Nightsisters as dropping Heavy Duty Clasps, Marauders and the caves on Rori in my experience also drop them. However, these are single clasps that are used in the Demolitionists Belt. Identical Clasps are required for the DE strap. I've never found any, nor know anyone who's seen one. But Nightsisters are probably my first port of call, otherwise try some of the harder MOBS, normally humanoid ones it seems.

You guys may be interested in this Tailoring site describing the DE toolkit. They also mention the clasps but idenetify the owners of single clasps but not crates of them.

The Droidsmith Tool Set gives us DEs +4 experimentation, +5 assembly and +5 customisation. My Master Tailor friend even threw in a +2 bleed defence, which I have no idea why for the life of me.

All I needed to pass to him was the Droid Reconstruction Kit A, and that works.

The tool set is equipped like a bandolier, thus you will have to unequip your backpack to wear it. The Weaponsmith Tool Set has a similar requirement as well.

Due to the +4 experimentation, it is required that you get an additional +1 experimentation SEA in order to get an additional experimentation point. This experimentation point is useful in making better Droid Repair kits (more charges or more power assuming you have maxed out the other stats).

Haven't tested out whether there is any increase in customisation options though, but I don't think it will make much difference. I seem to get less failures and more amazing success, but maybe I was just lucky, lol.

Look around on the Trade forums - the heavy clasps are a loot item, as are the "heavy leather" that go into (IIRC) the crafter's aprons.
