1. Being able to call more than 1 droid (I think there should be no limit for non-combat droids)
2. Since there's no more need of structure manteinance (since they automatically take money from bank) change the manteniance module to allow a droid to take energy from a generator and deposit it into an harvester
3. All droid chassis should have a special function (or bonuses for a certain use)
4. More chassis, expecially combat droids, I'd like the "rolling" ones (http://media.teamxbox.com/games/ss/820/1089846854.jpg)
5. Increase Droid Demand - Decay, better modules, a module swapping system, anything!

Was out of town for the week, but I am here.
Bug fixes shoould be first, but those arn't really top 5 issues.
1. Droid Decay in a proper balanced form.
2. More Droid types, either modules or chasis, to give more variety and use.
3.Inherent functionality in chasis. Such as BLL carrying more items, or Surgical giving a med bonus.
4.The change to the droid call timer such as I have proposed before, making droids more user friendly.
5. The addition of more droid personality, such as the Droid Macro idea, or the binding droids to houses idea.

Issues as a DE :
1. Decay
2. Over-reliance on parts from another profession (a year and a quarter after it was acknowledged by the Dev team as an issue, it has never been resolved)
3. DE's need room for more droids in datapad/DE's should be able to have +2 droids called at once
Issues for Droid Users :
1. NAMING, NAMING, NAMING! It really means a lot to many of them. A high-rated droid is a high-rated droid, name or not - but this is essential to people and their enjoyment of droids. I have had customers who have gotten a static droid chassis instead of a droid because they wanted something with a unique name following them around; they settle for one to stick in their house. Protocol droids would be hot sellers for non-stackable utility needs, but the inability to name them turns most people off. Huge, huge issue for customers.
2. Droid deeds need to show ACTUAL "real world" usage stats, i.e. damage/speed/etc. for combat droids. You don't ask people to buy weapons from a WS without this info - same with BE pets. People need more than a "CR" to go by. Also, for certed droids (entertainer, scout, merchant) a weapon-style "Certified: Yes or No" would be most helpful.
3. Droid Personalities that actually work. Just like in #1, people want droids that act like droids in the films. They want them to talk and interact with them and the enviornment. They'd even like R2's and non-talking droids to have personalities in their sound effects and movement.
Although the practical, rational side of me tells me that people won't buy style over function, when I really look at the requests I get from people it's really the more superflous aspects of droids that make people only use them for what they need and then store them. So many people would have droids following them around constantly if they could name them droid-sy names, and if the droid did something visually/spatially interesting. They just need to be made a bit sexier and accessable at the same time.

1. Existing Bugs (ie- naming Speaking droids)
2. Make better use of existing Droid Models (BLL's and Protocols are very limited in slots/uses)
3. Add more profession-centric module functions (no more"stacking" modules though so we can get away from R3s
)
4. Add MDE's ability to call multiple non-combat droids
5. Change naming convention (ie- allow numbers)

1) Upgrade combat droids, making them more powerful (Puting us on par with CH's)and new chasis, such as allowing us to craft droideka's, they're in the game so technically someone has to make them!
2) Fix the naming problem of some droids.
3) Stimpack delivery system to be able use stronger stimpacks.
4) Allow droid components to be interchangeable.
5) Make droids more important in game, such as having to use them in different missions such as gaining access to bases, etc.

1. Having to get a new droid for each tier of pilot skills. Perhaps so that a droid with a level 6 data module only functions as a level one cert droid for a newbie pilot, then open up as the pilot gains tiers?
2. Droid naming - for both converse and non converse. Preferably if you could change the droid's designation, and give it a handle, so that my R2 unit Scamper could be "R3-B1 (Scamper)".
3. Some form of repeat business based on decay. I will never support the droid totally becoming irrevocably useless (Artoo and Threepio were several decades old, at least) - instead I would prefer "Replacing components" droid decay repair.
4. Personality chips being readded to astromechs, and have them actually give the droid some "speech".... like the helper R2s do. Have them respond to commands according to their personality.
5. Various and sundry bug fixes. See appropriate sticky threads.

1. Droid naming overhaul
2. Data on deeds meaningful (max/min damage, speed, etc.)
3. DE loot (schematics/uber parts)
4. Battery and armordisplay bugs
5. New chassis/modules
That would be my short time issues too.
Long time Issues:
[Edit:] Improved Droid AI / Personality [/Edit]
Decay
Battle Droids / Droid Handler

I bow to TK's glowy blueness....i.e., ditto:

Nothing super problematic currently...but #1.
- Decay
- Droid Naming change
- Increase storage capability (for Adv. BLL only - when using L6 Storage)
- Droid Personalities - better features for 'AI' and immersiveness
- Unprogrammed Droid Command Modules - sales on these were great for awhile, not they are flatlined (read: dead)
With one addition of my own actually:
- Re-model the droid module system after the JTL ship component system. Let people keep their mechanical "friend" and spend time on upgrades or alterations.
