If we had that as an announcement, and some kind person were to sticky it, I think that would be quite useful.

Please include precise coords and directions (take starport to xx, shuttle to xx). I've never really left tat!
It'd be great if a dev showed, preferably in Lord Vader toon or a droid toon.
Please no declared faction characters.
The meeting is for all Droid Engineers, not just masters. In fact, we like to have all non-masters appear as well, as it helps much more to know there's a support structure out there than not. I went through the DE skill-tree climb alone, and would much rather have had a group of people to turn to for questions and assistance than to find out everything the hard way.
As soon as we set down the main topics of discussion, I'll see about begging for a sticky announcement. hopefully in a day or two.
(and yes, even if you're not a DE but intend to be soon, you are welcome to attend.)

Oh yea I was thinking that maybe we should post what our char's name will be, so we know who's who. I just made mine my forum name, my level in DE and my server. so its

and I used my n00bie money to buy some clothes to make me look really stupid, so lets hope it works and I can embarass myself.
Really, though, what do you think? I'm pretty sure that it would increase the chances of dev involvement and it might show them sort of a 'sign of good faith' that we were willing to participate in the testing process. We could even make it a monthly thing, especially after they implement the character copy. Then we could all participate 'in the flesh' as it were.
That's not a bad idea. We'll discuss it at the next meeting =)
But seriously, will have to spend a bit of time organizing that up. Would actually be great to meet as planned the first time, and that would allow us to see if everyone is willing to do that while we have them all in one place. There are too many preperations made to change this one so drastically on such short notice though, unfortunately, due to it being already a planned event within our Ahazi droid engineer circles. That and getting the TC client to work is a trial at the best of times.
But we will talk about it at the meeting. it is definately a good idea
