My father was IT meanwhile I'm heading to game development (though SWG has shaken my faith a lot in the profession and only going back to old games saves it).

I do CG special effects for feature films. So I'm a power-user with some scripting skills, and I enjoy making impossible demands on the IT guys

I have a varied background in game design, computer programming, and project management. Most companies call that type of position a Producer, but you can't just say that straight up or people think you work in Hollywood.

I work at a place called Pacific Insight Electronics on the production floor... When Im a work I feel like Im the guy sitting in your equipment factory grinding out all those factory components you need because thats pretty much exactly what I do! LOL

Software Consultant, I find its much harder to be screwed by my employerif im self employed. Most of my work is bread and butter database apps w/ a healthy dose of client/server systems sprinkled in.
