I am not at all suprised by this. I never planned to get ToW for my crafter, and I'm only getting it for my combat guy for the bunker house. The Flea will be deleted as soon as I log in.I also never planne don getting RotW for my crafter, and I still do not. The only reason why I got JTL for my crafter is so I could use my sorosuub to hop between planets and to take screenshots of the great backdrops in space. I hope one day they give us a crafters revamp. Hey, does anyone know if the Bunker house is tradeable or /transferable?
no offence but i wouldnt rid yourself of the flea due to the fact it is the only mount capable of transversing lava other than the lava skiff (which is not the preorder reward) and jet pack.

I heard the same thing, although I'll give a bit more detail on what I know:
We are coming to the end of the Scout classes. SL is in the next publish, followed by Ranger which is in development.
Next will be the Marksman classes: Commando and Smuggler.
I haven't heard even a whisper about brawler, but I have heard that DE is following next. So the crafter revamps as you call it, should be after Smuggler.

Everybody has ranged shot/melee hit, even at CL1. And they could even go up to ~CL 30 enemys for crafting quests without problems, at least once they fix combat droids ^^
You must have at least novice marksman/brawler to get ranged shot/melee hit, so no, not everyone does have them. As far as what is crafting based content, there were some great ideas mentioned earlier. Resource scavenger hunt, make an item with at least x stats, I'd like to see some knowledge based puzzles (but you'd have to have a huge question base so the answers wouldn't immediately turn up online) that involve the players knowledge of their crafting profession, etc...

Sorry but thats wrong my crafter is Master Artisan/DE/SW & 4304 Merchant and he has ranged shot/melee hit. He uses his uber-l33t-CDEF pistol to help his lair-removal-droid do its job

Pfftt, yeah 1-2 months if ever (going on 2.5 years of promises so far)

So DE is after all that. Hmm doing the math thats 5-10 months if we are lucky. Of course we will need some luck on our side as we know the following will end up happening....
Devs will all get fired again. New staff will forget all about past promises (see smugglers, planetary loot revamps, story arcs, etc). A new post will go out asking for our input on possible changes. New dates will tentatively be set.
Sorry to be so jaded, but Ive heard it all before from SOE. I have zero faith in them. Heck chances are the game wont even be around by the time our turn comes up.

Been reading on the other forums that loot dropd from the new expansion are not tradable...does this mean that even in the slim chance that there are DE schematics, even for decoration droids - that we can't get well meaning guildsmen to go collect them for us?
As a CL1 DE it won't be easy to find the one quest that is relevant to me, then get guildies to baby sit me through it.
Think I'll load it up to see how it looks, jump in the lava but won't do too much else.
