I am not schmoozing but I think TH has done an excellent job and I am really happy to see an entirely new vibe in the DE threads. I hope to see a huge change with each profession- after all the revamps will we get a beta for the droid exp?hehehe

All I know is Battle Droids, Super Battle Droids, and Droidekas should be available for players to use, because frankly, probots are useless.

An off-planet survey droid would be cool. It could bebased on the BH off-planet tracker droid, you launch it and it relays an email/entry in datapadback to you that lists what resources are present on the target planet.

I LOVE THIS!!!!!!.,..,.., WOOT.,.,,.

To be honest, I never really thought of it working that way.

What would be really useful would be a survey module that lets you use a seeker-like (or even a seeker) droid to let you see the resources on a specific planet in your survey tool. You wouldn't be able to actually survey, or sample, of course - but you could see if extrusive ore, for instance, spawned on Yavin IV. At this point, you just get off the shuttle, open survey tool, look, get on shuttle (if it's not there), which is really just an annoyance and not a play mechanic.

Would be very neat.

Thanks for the combat droids

So we droid engineers get the same quality combat droids as the Probot use to be at lvl 10? That's sure going to bump up my droids sales....

What happened to the true combat droid patch? With droids made for only combat? I don't care if an entertainer will get a new module to make a droid set off effects for them,..there's enough people with medic skills that an entertainer can just go afk and one will wander by soon enough to heal their action back up. Why not fix the broken repair module now instead? And I honestly don't remember hearing about any law the empire put out making combat droids illegal, in the movies, however I don't read a lot into the expanded universe so I probally missed it. Sounds to me more like the devs making a law to explain why they are to lazy to just put out a few truecombat droids. Adding modules, is of course much easier then adding entirely new droids into the game...

And also, are any other crafting classes other then tailor and weaponsmith going to get these limited use schematics for new items, without having to pay a fortune at a recruiter?

Thanks for extending droid batteries however, now instead of using on every 30 minutes, I'll only have to use one every hour....yet the powercell on a weapon never runs out.....

Oh well, I guess this boils down to the fact you can't please everyone all the time, guess I'll have to play my combat character account again, except they're also making my Master Brawler, Master Fencer, Master Swordsman TKA 4-3-0-4 a waste of time with the hard cap on denfense..so much for finally finding a combo that makes melee a viable tank.

Will combat droids be able to fight each other? It woould be great to make an arena event in front of Nym's palace in the square!

Awsome. But I have a question... are we getting any new droid chassis? An IG chassis perhaps?

Nice changes,

In combat wise, good for AT-ST's for killing us more in cantinas or in medical centers and taking out all balance in PvP.

In my opinion huge pets or AT-ST must not enter into Cantinas or any buildings like Medical Center, Cloning Center etc. Even by story line Imperials are more powerful, but this is some kind of overpower.

At least looking at that side, Rebels only having 5K HAM Specops maximum, Imperials having AT-ST's and 9K HAM Stormtroopers, make soldiers equal at least. 4K matters. I believe trained in wild guerillas have more practical combat experiences against imperial soldiers. I must also remind the thin line in gaming between 'fun factor' and 'realism'. Too much realism just kills more of fun factor.

But I was planing on making a post on light sources for houses then I saw this post and really loved it. It was funny living with ancient torches in a droid age. Also we'll see more beautiful decorated houses by UP and DOWN movement and can make our houses more usable without having to use stairs

It's wonderful to hear taking out vehicles without camping (which some may not need Scout at all to sacrifice 15 skillpoints) and also hoping this 30 seconds delay on vehicle - pet calling is for wild only, not cities...

I'm reporting any names that breaks the Naming Policy, Roleplay seriousity and copyright laws, you can too...

How about a Hunting Droid. It could have similar functionality to a Bounty Hunter's Droids in that it can track targets, but the targets are creatures. The droid's ability to find a target depens on how well it was programmed, and that depends on the players Creature Knowledge skill (Scouts and Rangers in particular). This would make Explorer Hunting missions move faster by providing a waypoint of where grouping of herds/packs are located, but the player may have to send the droid more than once before the total number of creatures required for the mission are eliminated.

Will droid decay be added in at all? I might be the only one thinking this, but if droids are permanent, then the market will quickly saturate. At the moment, Seekers and other BH droids are 1-time use, so there isn't a problem there. However, I can definitely see someone keeping a utility droid forever.

Saturation isn't happening w/ weapons/armor because they are difficult to repair and lose condition when you try. Cars often get disabled (though its kinda buggy right now).

I'd just like to see DE's balanced in the player-economy so that future DE's can make constant profit without needing a constant influx of new players.
