I'm confused by these messages....I've colored at least a dozen droids with no problem, granted these were mostly droids that I have made, but a pre-patch R3 has held it's customization since the R droid crafting has been fixed. As for uses on the kits, using 99% droid storage compartments, 88% control units and 979 conductivity copper I've exerimented the kits up to 6 uses. I'm beginning to believe that subcomponent quality has at least a small part in the final outcome.

My usual price is 500 credits, but a couple of days ago, a guy dropped 5k on me for doing it. I was a happy DE that day.

Well as soon as it appeared customization tools were finally working (after oct 10), I put all the highly-experimented components I had ready-made in my factory and cranked out crates of 6 use tools.
I always color them for free when I make them (since chassis colors dont stick yet).
I will charge non-PA members around 300 credits to color their droids (for each color needed). I figure thats a reasonable price to pay for a paint-job...think about what it costs to paint a car (in the real world, of course).
Depending on how quickly these paint-jobs fade... I will raise or lower my price accordingly.

ok I use kits with 5 charges ... I sell coloring of droids for around 500 cr each pop... I sell droid storage compartments at 97% for 500 creds on the bazaar so if i dont sell the color for around 500 cred then its just a waste of time.. but it does make people happy not haveing the same old colors...
