I like the wet finger aproch myself.
If a product sells out to fast for you raise the price
If a Product is not selling Fast enough lower the price
and If the Product is selling at a rate you want keep that price.

Well, after a chance meeting with the mall owner, I now have a convieniently placed vendor in my city, and since it is the only player city in the entire southern hemisphere of naboo, I am starting to get some business from both the citizens and the tourists. I have decided to liquidate my "bad" droids I made while climbing the ladder, but I am putting higher quality (and therefore, priced) droids on the market. I had one question though... the medical droids I make seem to max out at 110. I believe this is what they are supposed to max out at, right? Also, could anyone give me a bit more specific advice as to how they came accross thier chassis pricing system?

Yes, I agree, don't put "bad" droids on your vendor. In my opinion, it is ok to put say a droid that the HAM ended up at 4200 and not 4500 on your vendor for maybe 10k less. Some people like a bargain. You definitly don't want to have a lot of those though.
110 is a maxed med module, don't use good resources on them either.
Chasis pricing. Well the harder a chasis is to make, the more I charge. An Advanced R3 takes 2 advanced Droid brains, which alone take a lot of parts. The Probot takes the Micro Sensor sweet, which needs a bunch of factory Artisan parts. So for those 2 I charge 15k. MSE droids are easy to make, 5k. The Binary load lifter takes a TON of resources, plus 6 Droid Motive systems if I remember correctly, plus other parts. Which is why I charge 50k for the chassis.
All other Chasis are 10k for me. You can price them however you want, just figure in these things.
1. Your time.
2. Factory Time.
3. Resources used.
4. Numbers 1-3 for sub-componants used as well.
After a bit of time, you will get a feel for things.

Oh... so they put in a feature just so it would be there, but not actually do anything? Dev logic, eh? Anyone know if they ever plan to address that?

Here is something I have been wondering about: What stats are effected by durability, effectiveness, and quality during experementation?

Durability - nothing.
Effectiveness - HAM.
Quality - Quality (yet it means nothing).
SOME of the newer modules actually use Durability and Quality now, like the survey and stim modules - test them out to see which does which. Basically the modules that have two functions, like charges orpowerand speed use Durability or Qualitytoo. I'm forgetting which now....
It would be nice to see Durability tide to a Vitality or Decay system in the future. Maybe tie Quality to droid speed - ever seen how slow an LE walks? ![]()

Yay! I made MDE last night! Does anyone know anything about the Chilastra Droid Engineer Association? I am interested in joining but the admin for the DEA on Chilastra hasn't been on in a while apparently...
