Thread: Droid Pricing and totaling tool

for anyone curious when i was talking to ackis about pricing he informed his is based around a 10 cpu which seems fair when you add factory time etc
Thanks Tardyn.
The program looks great (you told me about it while I was pvping LOL).
I was mistaken with my pricing LOL... it's actually based off of 7.5 cpu (blushes).
Just those who are curious, my pricing formula is this:7.5 * resources + 27.5 * named resources + 300 * required number of sub-components + 500 * number of required factory components + 1000 * tech level + x where X is an integer (to account for sales, or for BLL's which like to critical fail on me).
What language are you writing this in Tardyn?

wondering if it would be possible to put droid frames and their prices?

as you can see you can set a base price for a "naked" or bare droid with no modules nothin so it would be considered the frame.
if you were lookin for a price to sell frames as house decorations just pick the frame and hit total
I have one bug and one wishlist item.
Bug: when I pull up the Droid Repair module, the price an quantity appear in the Personality module fields and not the Droid Repair module fields.
Also, it would be nice to be able to save configurations and recall them later. In my DE practice, while I will build a wide variety of things, I have a number of standard configurations which tend to be most popular. It would be nice to be able to save and recall configurations thereby eliminating several settings steps. Also, when you want to take a saved config and then change one or two things, it's still less work than filling out the whole list again.
But that's just a DE being lazy. Nice tool. Most pleased.
You asked for it you got it. Now you have the ability to save common droids and reload them as choice. Even if you change prices your new prices will be reflected when loading the droid. Made some minor changes to the interface along with a button to reset all boxes at once
