Sorry to say, but your prices are way over-inflated.

Considering that some of the commands are bugged, and no noticeable effect is seen apart from the droid unit beeping, I think you may well have to either hit the market as it is at the moment, before peeps discover the above, or sell at a more realistic price.

They are only chips that you can use once anyway!

No noticeable effect? i think boosting my speed from 750 to 925 with engine overload 3 is pretty noticeable. Some DE's are trying to charge as much as 10k per chip on bria.

hmm... truly I'm amazed, and rather surprised.

after being called a greedy, unscrupulouscapitalist pig dog (in essence, but hey, it's true!) for trying to petition all us DE's to charge 5K for these chips, I'm glad to know that many of you are doing just that, and making money doing it!!!

I am not charging 5Ktho heheh, kinda wish i did decide to keep with that pricing, but after chatting with a number of long time players, i decided on the lower pricing really to make them affordable to new players, without breaking the bank. So i currently charge 1800/chip, straight up, so a crate of 25 is 45K, and they selll very well from all my vendors.

And will I stay at 5k/module? Probably not. Once the demand dies down I will adjust prices accordingly.

And to think I'm selling them for 500 credits a piece ... My V1 FC's I have at 150 credits and then I scale up the price through to the rest accordingly. (about 2cpu for the resources and then I round up to the nearest 50 credits)

I charge 400 credits per chip. My flight computers are as follows:

v1 - 1000

v2 - 1500

v3 - 2000

v4 - 2500

v5 - 3000

v6 - 3500

But then, I mostly sell to guildies. Not many people come to Lok.

500 credits? Goodness. I thought I was severly underpriced back when I selling them for 1000 credits per chip. I may not sell as many actual chips as I did when I was priced at 1000 credits, but that seems to be mostly because people aren't buying excess chips. I sell more crates of 5 and 10 than I do of 25 now and I am making much more money to boot. More money, less work... where's the downside?

FWIW, I'll probably cut my prices after the initial rush dies down, but for now my space-based merchendise is moving quite well.

500 a pop.

Come on...very few resources needed and crap ones at that...almost all pure profit.

I'm currently selling mine for 400 each, but I'm probably going to raise my price to 1000 after this factory run simply because of how fast I'm going through EMMs (I'm not a Master Artisan anymore).

The way I see it, unprogrammed chips are only worth as much as the pilot's skill.

I set mine at 1900, and they sell ok, but I'm also surrounded by people selling them cheaper. Seems all the DE's on my server like Bestine *shrug*

I think it's fair as I could be using those resources and factory time(emm's....ugh) for more pricey droids.

What I've been really jacking the price in is getting my buddies to program the chips for me, then selling those pre-programmed chips at an exorbanant price...they almost sell faster than the unprogrammed chips.

v1- 1400

v2- 2k

v3- 3k

v4- 4k

v5- 8k

v6- 10k

Althought I may end up upping the higher ends, as it doesn't seem fair to the the people wanting astromechs that I sell them for a factor of 10 more per. Balance people, that's what it's all about.

Funny thing is my friends have reported seeing my droids on 3 other planets now...not in ships, but on vendors. I'm thinking of adding my waypoint next to the name stamp so people will know where the good stuff is.

lots of 5k's and that sounds pretty steep considering they really do take no resources I may go for prolly 25k a rate or 1k a piece....

but with that said I have heard a lot of testimonial from people saying they sell more crates of 5-10 rather then crates of 25, so would it be more efficient to sell crates of 5-10? I mean if they want more they can always buy more right?

I payed 50 bucks for SWG but when I bought it I had no clue I was paying for the beta...

funny thing is I get charged 15 bucks a month and it's still in beta

I sell a crate of 25 chips for 5k each or 200 each at the Dream mini mall near coronet

it seems a fair deal compaired the the other DE's that sell crates of 25 for 100k each

It's not greed that's keeping me selling the chips for 2500 cr. a piece. It's the fact that Ido not want to have 4 factories all pumping out EMMs & chips 24hrs a day to keep up with demand. I have found that at this price, they move reasonably well. Even so, I was restocking every day for a couple weeks. I just think that at 500 - 1000 cr. a piece, I would be scrambling to keep the vendor stocked.Believe it or not, I wouldrather someone stop by the shop and decide I charge too much than stop by the shop and not find what they are looking for.
