This is wacky, but does anyone know someone in LucasFilms that knows about the SWG game?

I wonder if Geroge Lucas' "vision" of Star Wars encompasses the lack of Droid functionality within the game?
Would he see the Rancors being traipsed around, pre-nerf/fix as funny or ludicrous?
Would he see the lack of player made Droids (and the low-end usefulness and development) as acceptable?

Would he care?

This is just sad, sad, sad.....

Today i realized how pathetic i was, when i got mad because on the new shift Starsider had none of the rare steels for protocol and BLL droids..... when they are absolutely and completely pointless. This is just sad and ridiculous. I've actually considered going back to EQ for gods sakes.... even if just for a split second.....

As i walked around trying to find new places for my harvesters, i realized it just didn't matter anymore... and i didn't put a single one back up. I mean, its not like i sell enough droids to actually need that much resources.

Come on Blizzard, hurry up with World of Warcraft so i can have a good excuse to get outa here......

Yeah, it really really sucks. I don't want to be jealous of other professions, and I am grateful they didn't give us a bunch of "working as intended" or "looking into it" responses....but they haven't followed up like they need to. They wanted suggestions, we gave some to them, and we need to hear their thoughts.

Just remeber De's arnt the only ones having this problem. At least the DE forum has gotten some responses (3). There are some skills (smuggler anyone?) who have gotten 0 , not even issue responses.

Here is a thought. Perhaps each dev has 2 or 3 (or more) skills attached to them... maybe the CH dev is also the DE dev . They are similar (as far as "pets"). Anywho it would explain why certainprofs see alot of work and others literally have 0 responses.

that post was ridiculous. They get nice detailed explanations of their issues and the things being done about them and all we get are 1 line answers that ask us for the solutions.... are we in nazi germany?!

Apparently the $3 million that SOE/LucasArts makes a month off of SWG is not enough to cover hiring two people for near-minimum wage to respond to posts on a board.

Im not even a DE but after reading that post and knowing all of the n00b CH out there it really does sicken me!

I mean no disrespect here, I love droids as much as I love my creatures and feel that they have completly screwed over you guys too. Its just evidently more people were vocal on the Creature Handler boards. I mean, as I type the numbers for postsare 47310 under the Creature handler board and only 15724 under droid engineer. THis might have something to do with the added attention. There's 20 THOUSAND more posts there than any other forum.
