So what would be the going rate for these now? Say current price X 5?

I can't answer that one, since I charge a flat 1k per droid on Test Center.

If I was still pricing on Live, I would suggest 100 - 500 credits per charge onSeekers and 200 - 1000 credits per charge on Probe Droids. This equates to 2k - 10k per Seeker or Probe Droid, with a full crate of both being 50k - 250k each. Before any guffs at that price, consider that a full crate of Seekers now has 500 uses and a full crate of Probe Droids has 250 uses. If you average it out, it will require 1 Probe Droid charge and 3 Seeker Charges to find a mark that will pay off 30k, not including loot drop auctions. Now, if we average out the entire life cycle of a single crate of Seekers, the BH should be able to pull 125 missoins before he runs out. 125 missions @ a payoff of 30k per mission is 3.75 million credits. That is only from the actual mission payoffs from an NPC target. Typically, that will cover armor, weapons, food, droids, travel, speeders, and other assorted costs, with approximately 1 million credits to spare. Now, figure in that the BH will more then likely gain at least 1 Uber loot per 20 marks that will pull1 million at action, for a minimum final pay off of 6 million credits.

Drashk, that has to be one of the coolest posts ever. I'm floating that in case anyone ever whines about prices, thanks for crunching the numbers.

More info....

The last Seeker and Probe Droid, out of a pre-Publish 21 crate, comes out with the old number of charges. The last Arakyd Probe Droid pulled out of the crate comes out with 5 charges, compared to the 10 charges that are on the other droids from the same crate. The lastSeeker Droid pulled out of the crate comes out with10 charges, compared to the 20 charges that are on the other droids from the same crate.

I submitted the bug it on the forums. We'll see if it gets taken care of before going Live, but I don't consider it to be a huge issue.

Question: You said that the droids pulled from Pre-Pub crates have the new number of charges. Is the new number of charges listed in the crate details on the vendor? Or is it the old count of charges? And are the crates being retro-fitted with the new number of droids in a crate? (I.e. - pre-pub it was 5 droids to a crate, do those same pre-pub crates now have 25 in them?) I'm pretty sure that question is a "no", but I have to ask.
