I've had to do this on bloodfin. Visit the planets one by one until you find it. According to a post a while back, there's always at least 1 type of extrusive ore available on at least 1 planet in the galaxy. Just a matter of finding it.

You'll also have better luck looking up DEs in the game and asking them since only about 30% read the forums.

Well Im on the server that starts with a T..(yea i forgot the name) Anyways I put up 2 persoanl extractors one on Corellia other on Tatoonie got me 5k worth traded it to a DE (im not but I love this profession that is why Im here) and he was going to make me a Probot(probe) droid type with the max armor and dmg possable. then they nerfed it the day before he was going to make it for me.

So then I asked him to make me a astromech droid with the works. So he then told me its broken you cant put more then three modules in it, even though it can take 6. The rest just wont work..So Im a bit pissed. Not at him he would build it like I ask but if its not going to work why have it...Ill just wait and hope before I die that they fix this profession.

I use to have to go all over the different planets to find reousrces, now I just use swgcraft.com, there is a little lag maybe 12-24 hours. It just depends on what server your on, Lidium extrusive popped on bloodfin not to long ago for what I believe was the second time and I mined as much as I could.

I am a new DE and yes i have read the various manuals and posts for DE. Mine is a problem of resources...Extrusive Ore, needed to grind the droid manipulator arm package. I have scanned several planets and markets, but i cannot find an acceptable ore. Can anyone offer a little advice?

try a galaxy-wide vendor location search, select the resources category and put in extrusive in the search bar and you should get a good list - just buy the cheapest stuffyou can find.

if the cheapest is lidium save it for later, Its used in level 6 storage modules.

Yes try a galaxy wide search, and save any Lidium extrusive you may come across for storage module 6. Also, you can check out
