Sorry I'm still a noob to this prof, but what does GSMC mean...thanks for the replys all, been a help!

General Socket Module Cluster ... basically its a module with three module slots in it ...sooo you can put a med, crafting and data or what not in one module then put that one module into a droid. Its ment for R2 units (which are the only droid that are supposed to take them) but since all droid treat them like regular modules it means any droid with even so much as one droid slot can have a ton of installed modules (because you can also stack GSMC's sooo it could look like 3 med modules in a GSMC (call it A) 3 data in GSMC (call it B) 3 Storage in GSMC (Call it C) then put A, B, C into a GSMC then put that into a MSE droid.

Anyway, using more than one module is not a bug because you have to use more than one slot for it (cost benefit) but using GSCM's to stack modules in anything other than an R2 is an exploit.

Its the general module cluster socket(lol might have the order mixed up), it allows you to put three modules into one, ei 2 lvl 4 storages and a repair kit. I would agree if stacking is an exploit why can you put three armor segments into a Binary Load Lifter? Ican see why the cluster could be considered an exploit I guess, however anything the devs feel is an exploit seems to get nerfed pretty fasted.

It there some sort of confirmation that using a GSCM is an exploit in anything other than an R2? I've been using these things in Probots. I can understand that stacking them 'seems' like an exploit, (since we haven't heard any official word address that issue, either), but simply USING them in a Probot is considered an exploit? I need confirmation. It seems to me that these things should be usable anywhere a general module can be used.

R2's are not the only droids that have slots for them. I saw it listed for several droids. I'll have to double check but:

LE ADV

R2

R2 ADV

R3

R3 ADV think it uses 2

you can go here and select a droid from a drop down list. It will show you how many armor slots, module slots and cluster slots the droid has.

It's still not very pretty, but I've been swamped with work and school so haven't had a chance to add a java or flash interface to make it all spiffy.

That's a great tool Jonas, thank you. Pretty is nice, but functionality is all anyone really needs.
