Thread: Do you guys know your combat probot sucks?
darthfodder, you are correct. Medium armor + 40% resistances with 810 HAM against creatures with no armor piercing puts the probot on level with any non-CH pet (beetle, cowardly gurreck, kreevol). The creatures have less armor but more HAM, so it roughly evens out.
However, the big difference is you can drop pet stimpacks and other healing on pets to heal them as they tank, whereas with droids you can't. This makes the biggest difference as far as tanking goes.
Yes, I figured you understood it. Most DE's are bright people.
The original poster is obviously either someone looking to get a kick out of trolling DE boards or just a very immature person, possibly both.

Sadly no, Han Solo accidently hit Boba Fett's Jet Pack and he flew into the side of the Sail Barge, then fell in the Sarlacc pit. The most feared Bounty Hunter in the galaxy gets bumped into the Sarlacc pit by a scruffy-looking nerf-herder.
Man, reading over my post, it becomes apparent how much of a nerd I am.
PS Who cares if the Probot sucks, that will change, things are still being balanced.

And then in a series of BH books, he comes back after being saved by a slave and novice bounty hunter. Is't life grand that way?
As far as the original poster, he wouldn't know the difference between a seeker and probot. Heck, he's probably online right now trying to get an R2 to go find a mark of his. I'm not a DE but I do resell droids on the Kettemoor server. I love my droids, I own 3 droid right now. A probot, R2 and MSE (my first droid). My probot has saved my butt out in the field more times that I could even begin to describe. No, his attacks aren't the best in the world (52-56 damage) but his attack speed is my appreciated at a nice 1.5. My real wish for the DE profession is to get the bugs fixed (the ability to actually use multiple crafting modules in a droid would be great, I guess at the moment, one cancels the other out) and perhaps add the ability to change out the weapon on a probot. You have the option right now to use different degrees of armor modules, medical modules and storage modules. Why not the ability to use a better weapon module, perhaps even base it on your customer's skill level. If he can use only use a CDEF Carbine then guess what, his probot is limited to one too. Oh, I would also like to see some added benefits to having a surgical droid versus an R series with a med level 6 module in it.
