Tis SAD... some of u don't understand

for the last 6 or 7 months if u take a good look at this forum u will see we [vets of trade] have been there and done that. It has done no good trying to make suggestions to improve the de field.

so trying to work on the + side has not worked... lots feel lets give the - efffect and see if that helps.

Remember as a Master DE we can only make 1 droid that is worth making... lol our good old probot, the droid repair module works in it.

Maybe my lack of faith after being lied 2 so many times is just because of my WOOKIEE nature...

I'm thinking the problem was that for the last 6 or 7 months, DE's have been arguing about fixes when soe had no intention of making those fixes at that time. It seems that they schedule the dev time so tightly that they can't really take on any extra items. So basically, any arguments that take place during a time period when they aren't actively working onDE related issues will fall on mostly deaf ears.Ok, i can live with that. It's justhow thingswork, and i'm not going to butt my head against the wall to no purpose.I realize that things can't get fixed over a short term, and in the life of a mmorpg, 7 months is pretty short term. Quite honestly in that time, there were other things that required dev time that had to be implemented that were of much larger importance to the entire game and to the dev's vision of it. Take a look at the size of the DE community, take a look at the size of the rest of the communities, and ask yourselves whomust recieve most of the dev time. If DE's recieve a month or two dedicated for the most part to their problems, then i think that's doing pretty good. Yes, your the longest and hardest suffering community. Is that the devs fault, or your fault for working yourselves up to a frenzy and not enjoying the parts of the game that work.

Theres alot of game out there to see, and there's also alot of professions available to see it with. If i had approached the game thinking "i'm going to be a pikeman, and only a pikeman" then i wouldn't be having much fun right now. The same applies to DE. Things get fixed when they get fixed. I, know this isn't a popular sentiment within this community. This is the home of bitterness and angst.But it saves you from exasperation when changes to your chosen profession don't come quickly enough to suit you.

I understand completely the harsh feelings and the negative sentiments, and I understand there are no "Annie" costumes left in wardrobe either Hell, there have been a few times when I have just gotten frustrated at the lack of usefulness for some of the droids we have. You still care! It probably pisses you off to no end, but you still care or you wouldn't be reading the forums. Am I correct?

I used an analogy when I posted about Woody leaving. It was about how no thing that is a labor of love is ever easy. You think I haven't read the posts you guys were making months ago? That Ihaven't seen the rising tide of frustation as idea after idea was overlooked or sidestepped or just plain shot down in flames? Don't think I noticed the change in tone? We aren't the only profession that needs some serious help, but by the same token, most of those guys don't have the great ideas for things that you all do. So what you guys are saying basically is that you didn't get what you want so there's no use anymore? Sorry, gotta disagree. No change ever happens without an impetus for it. You guys are the vets that have been here making noise since the beginning. I'm a noob. Who do you think the Dev's would listen to more?? I for one don't really enjoy the thought of going back to square one.
