1. Utility Droid Decay
2. Naming of Conversational Droids
3. Combat stats need to appear in "real world" values on the deed, i.e. Damage/Speed and not "Combat Rating 600"
4. Item Storage in Surgicals (The most requested combination that I cannot fill)
5. Lack of loot components for droids

Just started being a DE myself. The main problem I'm having is the cost of resources against how much you can make from selling droids, asa DE you cant make anywhere near as much as armorsmiths or weaponsmiths due to the fact droids last forever and dont decay (appart from batterys, seekers and customisations). I think DEs need better more expensive combat droids basicly (maybe droidekkas)
Also some feature where droids need to be "serviced"every few weeksby DEs would be nice. Or allow us to upgrade/change modules in exsisting droids. Kinda like droid slicing, except your changing its abilties (or making it better if your putting in higher level modules and removing old ones).

I found this preview of JTL @ http://appsrv-4.1up.com/do/previewPage?cId=3133345&did=4, quote:
Having your very own spaceship also does away with one of the worst problems of the original game: the shuttle system. When you've got a ship of your own, you can jet to those faraway galaxies on a whim. Concerning these space commutes, instead of using special space fuel, the ships will degrade part by part. Simply replace worn-out components to keep your ship in tip-top shape.
How acurate this is, I don't know....but wouldn't it be cool if a similar system was implemented for droids?

How about totaly revamping (I know BAD WORD) the module system.
This would start with changing what modules are allowed in each Driod. Currently there is almost no use for a General Droid Module Socket Cluster. How about changing Advanced R3s to one General and one Combat or Generalcluster. Similar changes would need to be made across the board, but for any 'non-combat' droid only General Clusters should be allowed and of course no combat type modules at all.
Also what is allowed in a Combat Cluster needs to be modified. It is hard to picture a crafting station in a Combat Cluster.
Now for the most radical change to combat modules... require them to use weapons. And the type of damage is based on the weapon installed. The overall damage and speed of the droid would be based on a composite of all the combat modules installed. This would allow a 'back door' decaying system since the weapons themself would decay.
And finally the decaying would require the ability to 'de-construct' droids and rebuild the components. And from everything that we hear from JTL they are implementing a modular system for starships, why not something similar for droids? Occasional drops of better modules than a DE can make would be a big boon to DE/player interaction.
Just a few ramblings of another MDE.
