By your arguments, clothes are useless, furniture is useless, and all of image design is useless. But none of them are, nor are different droid models. Maybe I'm just fortunate because I'm an RPer who plays on one of the unofficial RP servers, but people are willing to pay for something that looks better than a grey box on wheels. This profession is as much about selling functionality as it is selling an image and your customer service. That is why you haven't gotten the uproar you expected. Anyway, this is an issue that the DEs can, at least to a large degree, control so that it doesn't affect sales. Refuse to make droids that are make with this 'exploit,' and it's not a problem.

I can also see the Devs coming down on any DE that does make this. Say bye bye to the exploiting tronkeys!

I guess I'll agree with you Jabetha. No one seems to care about this trade and having some uniqueness in droids.Like to see this one on the weaponsmith boards if all the guns were the same except for looks.Get a grip DE's if you don't care about this trade then change.Don't Flame those that did work hard and get nothing for it.This is a serious issue and those of us that are committed have the same right to complain as you have to be apologist for the inept implementation of the trade.

Thank you for your work in testing this Jabetha. Every issue you have mentioned has been reported in one way or another to the devs in my two reports. I am in the process of working with the devs and clarifying the issues. Socket module clusters has already been discussed.

And I do have to concur. The profession is so broke that we are hard torally any more at this point. What can be done is being done. We can pick up signs and march on the developers all we want but its not going to speed up development or fix our issues any faster. All we can do is report, communicate and wait.

But your work is appreciated, as is everyone elses who takes the time to actually test and line out the issues instead of just blow hot air, bitch and whine.

Good to hear, Sintrosi.

The picklists are nice, but a bi-directional dialog between the devs and someone who knows the profession and is familiar with the current issues is much more valuable.
